This led strip fit on my a1 with no problems and is super bright been on 24/7 with no issues. Also very cheap compared to some of the other printer light setups. And it was super easy to install just wipe down with iso alcohol and stick it on. Only complaint is the sticky around the light sensor kinda sucks but nothing a little glue or double sided tape can't fix.

Like others have said, the tape didn't stick to the aluminum rail at first. Since others warned of this I tried just the last 10mm of the strip first and it would not stick at all. So I cleaned the bottom of the aluminum rail with alcohol and then it stuck perfectly.I love how bright these lights are and highly recommend the product. The instructions should say to clean the rail first, though.

Saw a YouTube video of the item and was stoked to give it a try. Cleaned the rail off with alcohol and let it dry and stuck it underneath. Fell off. Held it for a good while. Fell off. Zip tied it over night. Fell off. Light sensor wasn’t even up against the light so it couldn’t stick. Huge gap. Extremely disappointed. Returned and replaced with a second one. Same issue. Got my money back.

The light works well, but I have a few complaints.The claims about the adhesive not sticking are due to the factory oil/coating. As others have pointed out thoroughly wiping down/scrubbing the underside of the linear rail (x-axis) with 91% isopropyl takes care of this issue at which time you need to be careful with your placement because the adhesive is not coming off without a fight.The board for the light is housed in a small 3D printed part that is intended to be stuck on the filament purge arm. Unfortunately this interferes with floating waste baskets. That is mildly annoying, but nothing that can not be solved with a different 3D print to route the wires to the motor side of the linear rail ... except they glued the board into the printed part and the solder points for the wires are quite poor. Removing the board without damaging it is nontrivial, and you are absolutely going to have to re-solder the leads to the board.If Biqu is listening ... Pot the board so that the leads are not an issue. I suggest potting them in a cuboid shape so that the potted board can be snapped into your attachment with no glue making it more accessible for people to modify if they so choose. If you can accomplish this and keep your cost + margins under $20 this would be a great product for a good price.I think their review issue would have been solved if they had just included instructions on how to install the thing. It comes with zero instructions. You have to figure out how they intended for it to be installed entirely on your own making something that should take only a few minutes into a full blown adventure.I debated between 3 & 4 stars, but ultimately this thing is cheap and it does what it advertises... and no one else makes a similar product.

Works fantastic... area was not well lit so these were great. No issues with the adhesive so far.
2.0 out of 5 stars Light on the nozzle while printing
The last LED on the strip on the right, where the wires go to the sensor, never glued correctly, and at the first try the machine tried to cut the filament and the print head moved to the extreme right, it snuck the led, it fold and went down into the head fan. It was very difficult to remove, for luck it didn't break the fan blades. There is no way to make the right LED and the wires to stay out of the way of the head. I did clean the rail with alcohol before glue it. Also, two LEDs lenses in the middle of the strip where knocked off from the fan ducts. There is less than 1mm gap between the LEDs and the fan ducts. Also, the light didn't illuminate the printing nozzle, only the back of it.

My husband had bought the 1 for the Bambu Lab A1 Mini and loved it so much he bought this for his regular A1. He loves this 1 to. Works great, easy to install and very bright.

The light while utterly fantastic and the sensor works perfectly there is two fatal flaws in this design that can make the less than tech savvy users extremely frustrated. In the sensor body there is an extra tab of plastic that prevents the sensor from sitting flat that piece must be cut off before you peal the adhesive also the tack on the adhesive is actually terrible to the point mine is held on with mechanics grade 3m electrical tape. You really need to fix these problems.
