I tried the rubber spiky ones. They work, then they break apart. With this design the Silicone Guard really works. Seems to be the same silicone they use on kitchen utensils, so it works well with heat and doesn't break. I have used them with every laundry load for 6 months, and they are still like new. Contrary to others opinions, they do help with drying. I originally bought them to dry my down jacket once it was washed. They are excellent for down blankets, bags and jackets. Choose these dryer balls and you will have a fluffy happy life!

I will admit I was skeptical that these would help dry thing better and/or faster. But I have been using them in all of my dryer loads now. They make a huge difference when you are drying larger comforters. I used to have to run comforters through multiple cycles manually reconfiguring them in between cycles and they would still be a bit damp. But not with these! I was amazed.

Love these dryer balls! My favorite part is that they are super quiet and they stop wrinkling! Love the blue and pink colors. I bet you could use essential oils with them but have not tried yet.

Add peppermint oil, I bought on Bolo and it works better than dryer sheets. Smells wonderful. Peppermint dabbed on your self, helps keep bugs away

I’ve had dryer balls in the past, but all they did was make a lot of noise. These have helped fluff the fabrics and cut down on static electricity. A win win!
