They're just not built to last like this one is, and an added bonus that this one has some heft to it (although it's not heavy by any means). For the price it's honestly a steal.This thing, however, has stood up to me dropping it and using it continuously on my shoulder, hip, and even hands and arms for much longer than I probably should be. It packs a punch so use with caution on things like your hands but I think it's great for when my radiculopathy is acting up.The amount of attachments is perfect, I really only use a few of them - there is a small learning curve in changing attachments because they very solidly fit onto the massager, but it couldn't be easier to use with a very good and wide range of speeds and functions.

Having massagers of all shapes, sizes and strengths is an important thing for me in middle age. LolI've got massage rollers and massages güns and more.Portable massagers are especially useful. Like this one. Big enough to do a big job of massaging but not too big to tote around. Speaking of which: it has a sturdy, zippered carrying case that also holds the attachments. The zipper is a bit finicky but not unbearable.And this massager has a large, contoured grip which makes for easy use. The massage head is fairly large for the overall size, so you can cover a lot of ground. The extra attachments are nice to have but made of a more brittle plastic, compared to the somewhat flexible smooth head that comes attached. That's the one I tend to want to use the most. The flexible plastic makes for easier on and off. The brittle plastic heads are a bit resistant when you try to take on and off, but not excessively difficult.This has plenty of massaging power in a compact size. And the speed dial is easy to see and use. My big complaint is the power button. The center of the speed dial could have included the on/off button and that would have been so easy. Instead, there is a tiny button next to that to power on and off. When you turn it on, it's not much of a concern. The button is small but it isn't overly hard to turn on, though you do have to press quite firmly on the button. The problem comes when you try to turn it off! If the massager is on a higher speed, especially, getting to and holding the button down to get it turned off is a bit of a challenge. Worse still because the "hold down for 2 seconds to turn off" just isn't true. It's 4 seconds. That doesn't sound like much but it feels like an eternity when you are trying to press down firmly on a tiny button while your entire hand is vibrating.And though i, overall, really like this massager, there is just zero excuse for the absolute disaster of a power button on this thing. Someone really failed with that design. Still, it's a great little massager. Just wish it weren't marred by such an avoidable oversight.

It’s not really a massage gun in my opinion. Nonetheless it’s a great alternative. It has a variety of attachments to meet different needs. Each attachment targets a different concern. It is straightforward and easy to use. I am a fan of the design. It is not as harsh as a massage gun. It is extremely effective and gentle compared to other options. It massages in a similar fashion, without being too abrasive. Overall, a well-made quality device. I recommend.

We have a percusser (a.k.a. massage gun) we bought a few years ago for muscle pain, and found it to be a little too aggressive. Even with a soft percussion head, when you go over tissues that are close to a bone…ouch. The device bounces off the spot hard, and is not comfortable.We picked up this item up hoping it would be a less aggressive option, and found that it was indeed. But we also found that it is powerful enough to give a deep tissue massage. The device is solid and weighty, it feels very substantial (not light a cheap). It comes with a well-proportioned case that keeps all the parts in their place. The is also labeled so you know what's inside when you go looking for it on a shelf or in a closet. I found that the default "flat head" is easy to remove, but the other heads are a little more difficult to take off once you've put them on. So far we like the flat head best, so this is not much of an issue. The design of the device makes it easy to hold on to in different positions while using it on yourself or someone else.The literature gave us the idea of using massage oil on the flat head, and that was a game changer. We've found that you can use oil, balm, or even a menthol gel or cream for muscle pain, and use this tool to really work it into the muscle. There are several modes available but we found that we liked Manual Mode dialed up to medium or medium high best. Powerful Mode (the Red setting) is good for big muscles.Not sure why the product title specifically says "for women" because i've found that it works great on men too.
