The instructions say to use the tape provided to hold it for 48 hours, which I did. But really, it was very solidly stuck right away and wasn’t going anywhere. My last one simply fell off due to my son’s phone case making his phone heavy, but I’d put money on this one that it won’t fail like that.

At first I didn't think they worked well, but of course I didn't ready directions fully. When you adhere, I recommend you wait 24 hour before use. The adhesive needs to set. I did in temps below freezing and it still worked. I use on my dashboard to hold phone mount. So far so good.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I got these for my phone holder/charger in my car which is a Lisen. Here’s the problem: I’m in Texas. It’s hot. The dash gets extremely hot even with sun shades. Meaning one of these will last about 3 weeks if you’re lucky. This has nothing to do with the stickiness (which is great). They simply become so soft that they are almost melting. The glue will hold but they are made of rubber. So the option is drilling a hole in my dash to mount it (Gorilla glue also didn’t work btw) OR if someone made one of metal with adhesive (which likely wouldn’t stick well either). Advice? Buy a multi pack of these and toss them in your glove box. Once your charger starts coming off due to the heat…pull it off and stick a new one on. It’s either that or drill a holeSide note…I DO think that if you use these towards the front such as next to radio or vent that they would work perfectly. I use my phone for GPS when in big cities and need on top of these day near my line of sight so I’m not glancing down taking my eyes off the road.
