Prepare the Kadayif: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). In a large bowl, spread out the kadayif (shredded phyllo dough). Melt the margarine and pour it over the kadayif, making sure to coat it evenly. Mix well, ensuring there are no dry spots. 3. Layer the Ingredients: Divide the oiled kadayif into two equal portions. Spread one portion evenly in a greased baking tray. Sprinkle the chopped walnuts or pistachios evenly over the first layer. Top with the remaining kadayif, pressing it down gently to compact. 4. Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown. 5. Add the Syrup: Once baked, remove from the oven and immediately pour the warm syrup over the kadayif. Cover with a lid or another tray and let it sit for at least 1 hour before serving.
