Says 2.8sec max. but I think 3.2sec will get you more successful and optimal results.People who have given this resin a lower score have not tested this resin thoroughly and should use a testing RERF if they offer it for your printer. This is should be for all resins you introduce to your printer and never just drop the resin in your vat and print a project. ALWAYS TEST!Now that is said, this RESIN is great! Excellent durability and leaves a slight shine to flat surfaces that give it almost a plexiglass shine after its cleaned and cured. I've currently been using it for miniatures and so far it has been a good experience. I do have to say though, this is a thick resin so make sure you print at a good temperature at either 25C or slightly above. If you have a Saturn 4 16k this will be no issue as the built in heater brings it to the right temperature.

This is second purchase of this resin. First was the gray color. Have not run the recent purchase but hoping it prints the same. Have used many resin products and believe this one matches ABS properties better than others advertising that they do.

This resin was great, barely any odor, thick and durable with a simple research online for a similar black resin setting will get the job done. Printed a Black Myth Wukong statue and looks splendid.

This is a good resin, the parts are very tough and durable. The only issue I had was that Elegoo does not publish any settings for this resin, they refer you to their spreadsheet of all their resins, but it doesnt include this one so that is pointless. I used the settings from ABS-like V3 and had some first layer adhesion issues so I upped the first layers to 30s and had no issues after that.

I'm giving the black tough resin 1 star until the manufacturer actually puts out some information on the recommended print settings. I have tried multiple times and can't even get a calibration print to work. I'm using the Saturn 4 and I've had success with other Elegoo resins, but not the tough resin. I'm about to fire off my 5th test print to try to get this stuff to work. I'm tired of cleaning up after all these failures so this resin is about to go in the trash.

Resin is fantastic for printing minatures for tabletop games.Loses a star because it is hard to find any information about the resin. Took a fair bit of trial and error to get the calibration correct. I have a GK2, which has a heated bed, so viscosity isn't an issue for me as it flows fine when heated. But without a heated bed, you might have to decrease lift speed significantly for successful prints.And also, be sure to cure it for much longer than with something like the Elegoo ABS like resin.

Excellent tough resin for printing functional parts. If you need a resin for printing hooks or anything that will need to be bent or screwed in or flexed, this is great it is very tough and hard.

Tricky to work with, but worked well for my dental models
I used this resin with my Mars 2 Pro 3D printer from Elegoo that I’ve had for many years. I was excited to try this acrylic resin because I print a lot of dental models to fabricate retainers and nightguards. This resin wasn’t the easiest to troubleshoot because I found that its consistency is thicker than regular washable resin. I wasted quite a bit of resin just trying to get it to print properly. It also takes a bit longer to cure and clean. Once you get it right though, this resin is beautiful. It takes effort to learn how to use this resin properly. It’s definitely more finicky and difficult to get right than other resins on the market. However, once it’s printing properly, it’s a very tough resin and works well for my dental lab needs.
Good resin, but tough to get right
A bit hard to tune, but definitely a lot tougher than the standard 2.0 resin. Used on a Saturn 8k with mixed results so far. Consistency is smooth and good, and not much odour from what I can tell. Supports are decent to remove, with less pitting from what I can observe. Would recommend, as this is still good quality. Elegoo has not disappointed me yet (Aside from my Neptune 4 throwing a hissy fit).
