Excellent quality marble tile! These are very uniform in thickness and in spacing. They are set up for narrow grout lines exactly as one would want for marble tiles! They are flat or matte - as in not glossy on arrival. They can be made high gloss with sealers and conditioners. Marble is to be sealed before grouting , also after. You can get natural look sealers as well if you prefer the matte finish (something like bulletproof sealer https://a.co/d/fbF3FXY ) Definitely research for DIY installs no instructions with tiles. I've done polished granite tiles and tons of slate before but this will actually be my first time working with marble - I do know marble can soak up oils, amd is highly susceptible to acids damage. Stain from grout also can be of concern & the grout will want to stick to the tops just as much as the side which is why you need to seal before working with it maintain that. That said I would never have a marble counter ! Bathroom Backsplashes , walls , stairs risers ... etc.. are great . I personally don't feel it's worth the stress to have marble in my cooking areas- some people do however ! I think I'm going to use these into shelves the will be set into plastered corner area 🤔 just not sure yet about that whole design yet actually I keep wanting to do an adobe or cob like corner in this room and form shelves into it .- do mosaic on the back inset and something on the bottom surface in the cubbies also. These may make it into that project or I'll find somewhere else to use them . I tend to get the stuff I like visually and then figure it all out by experimenting with mock ups i often change my mind mid project when I discover something in my supply sheds, a sale or some other place. My cabin property is very much a 5 acre canvass to me!! I see it as a big art project - it will never be done , lol , it's my artistic outlet so I'll probably never stop working on it. Bottom line these are high quality tiles with excellent backing mat. They are great looking. I got the black ( onyx) variety. Sheets like this are excellent for sizing , generally very easy to deal with by doing some math and figuring out the correct trim profiles that = no having to cut any of the tiny tiles themselves ( thats how i do it ). With mat mosaics like these you can cut with HD scissors, rotary cutters, blade/ box cutter just about anything if your just cutting the mat! For cutting tiles, if you must. you are best off with wet tile saw for speed and straight cuts. See pics I wet these to see how they will look with gloss sealer vs natural.

Very nice quality marble tile. They look great in our bathroom and blend with the countertop. As easy to install as any other natural stone tile but there is a lot more grouting with how small the tiles are. Tiles are consistent in thickness and have a natural variegation in surface finish. Works perfectly as a bathroom backsplash!
