I wish my son would have had these years ago! He had the larger set with the metal and he would have loved the smaller set too. I wanted to have these for when my nephews came over to visit so they would have something fun to play with. It's nice that they are half plastic and half metal. The bed on the dump truck can be moved up and down. You can slightly move the front of the bulldozer but the tracks will move if you drive it on the floor. They are lightweight and small enough to toss in a bag to bring with to the park or even to the beach. I know this is a set that will be a big hit the next time they come over to visit.

I received this item for free as part of the Bolo Vine program, and here are my thoughts:This Tonka set is a huge disappointment. It’s mostly cheap plastic—only the bulldozer blade and dump truck bed are metal, and the metal is so thin it could easily cut a child. The bulldozer treads fall off easily, and the overall quality doesn’t live up to the “Tonka Tough” reputation. Not durable or safe, and not worth the price. A letdown for kids and parents alike.
