My pack of this Lab Series set of skin care arrived a bit mangled, and I was surprised to find a second face wash in place of the lotion. So I can't speak to the lotion, but hey, extra face wash!I'm happy with the quality of both the face wash and the toner. While these aren't particularly large containers, you only need a tiny squeeze of the face wash, about the size of a pea. My face does feel a bit dry after using it, but the toner starts making it feel moisturized again, and the addition of (some other brand of) lotion, my face feels nice and clean and smooth. The niacinamide in the toner is one of the most common nicely effective ingredients, and is one thing I look for in toners and serums.The face wash is scented, but mildly so, and I can't come up with words to describe it well. Herbal, maybe? Inoffensive? I've been known to react to scented products, but have had no reaction to these.

The lotion is lightweight but deeply moisturizing, giving my skin an energized look right after application. Over time, I’ve noticed a visible reduction in fine lines, which makes it even more impressive. Overall, this routine is simple yet powerful, and I’d definitely recommend it for anyone looking to improve their skin’s hydration and texture.

I got this set for my hubby to try but I gave it a sample as well for this review. You get a set of 3: cleanser, toner, and facial lotion. Among this set of 3, only the facial cleanser came with a protective seal around the top, while the lotion and toner I could just use right away without removing any kind of protective seal. These products do have a very light perfume scent, nothing overwhelming or anything that lingers after applying. The cleanser did feel a little drying on my face after washing especially around my cheeks, forehead and eyelids. I have combination skin. My hubby didn't notice anything drying or any area that felt tight for him after using. My husband used the toner and lotion where he felt the toner was a little tingly or itchy at first but then dissipated and the lotion absorbed well and felt comfortable after applying without leaving a sticky residue. The both of us feel that the price at the time of this review of $93 for this set is quite steep so while these products didn't irritate our skin, it's just a lot to spend on something that doesn't really perform any better than store bought brands.

I recently purchased this skincare set after having previously used another set from the same brand. This new set is larger, offering more product than the travel pack I purchased before.While the Face Wash in this set is fine, I typically prefer face washes with beads for added exfoliation; this one has more of a gel consistency. I prefer the travel face scrub over the face wash in this larger set.I also enjoyed the moisturizing cream in this set, which effectively hydrates my skin. I did not like that it lasted approximately three weeks with daily use. I thought it would last longer based on the bottle size.I have yet to use the Hydrating Face Toner, so I cannot comment on its effectiveness.Overall, this set provides a good quantity of product and will likely last a considerable amount of time. If you prefer gel-based face washes and are looking for a skincare set that will last, this could be a good option.

The retail box they came in had dirt all throughout the inside. There was no tamper proofing or sealing on the box nor two of the products. One product had a seal.My philosoohy is that cosmetics are genderless and I use what works for me and has high quality ingredients. One item boasts that it doesn't have sulfates, but it does have Methylisothiazolinone, which is considered to be a possible neurotoxin. I'm not a fan of the unncessary dyes, either.Although I often have products that tend to have a scent, this one isn't particularly pleasant to me.I was very excited to try this set, but I felt it was a let down for me.

This is a really great set for my oily skin. The wash lathers up nicely and rinses off without leaving my face feeling tight. The toner works well to help keep my pores small. It goes on nicely and dries quickly. The cream is very moisturizing without leaving a greasy feel. I have sensitive skin and it never causes a breakout.
