It's has a "cheaply made" feel to it. If you had boom boxes in the 80s or 90s, this has a fragile feel to it.That said, 5 out of 5 for functionality.The AM/FM tuner band is a bit on the sensitive side, analog dial, so can be finnicky to get the perfect tuning, but receives a good signal on both bands.Cassette player works well. Upside-down cassette entry, and the port is slow to open, but it works.CD player works well.The function selector is in an awkward place.. slightly behind the left speaker, and difficult to read in poor lighting (options are raised lettering, same color as the plastic shell). So switching between radio/CD/tape is inconvenient.It does everything it is supposed to well. It just has questionable design decisions... as if they didn't take user-friendliness into account.If you need/want a cheap option to play CDs, tapes and listen to the radio, this will suffice.Power cord is included. Batteries not. I only tested via wall outlet. Battery operation may differ.

Frustratingly impossible to get product support from Memorex and/Bolo. I spent a week contacting both because it was missing the AC adapter which it states 3 times in the description that is included. I was sent a replacement through Bolo that was not only the wrong color, it was also the wrong model.I did put batteries in where it still didn't even work.I don't know what is going on, but I am beyond exhausted dealing with whatever is going on with Bolo and their sellers these days.Both the original and replacement were sent back because neither worked or had all the parts included.

The media could not be loaded. I was really excited to find a stereo that had both a CD player and a cassette deck in one—I needed it for some old school homeschool materials I’ve been using with my kids. I chose the red version, which is a nice bold color and looked great out of the box. But after using it, I ran into a few issues that honestly made this a frustrating purchase.First off, the cassette controls are a headache. The play/rewind/fast forward buttons are not only hard to see (especially for those with vision issues—you’ll definitely need a flashlight), but the forward and backward buttons are actually switched. At first, I thought my tape was damaged or not playing correctly, but nope—the buttons just don’t do what they say. That’s a major design flaw, especially since I’m using this with small children who are new to cassette players. I now have to label the buttons myself with tape, which is honestly ridiculous.The CD player works fine so far, no complaints there. I haven’t used the AM/FM radio, but it’s nice that it’s included. There’s also a headphone jack, which I appreciate—but it’s inconveniently located on the back instead of the front, which makes it awkward for everyday use. The power mode switch (to choose between tape, CD, or radio) is also in the back, and the tiny lettering is tough to read.I almost boxed this up and returned it, but I’m knee-deep in homeschooling and just don’t have the time or energy. Still, I’m taking off major stars for the cassette button issue—that’s not something that should be overlooked in quality control.Bottom line: I was trying to save a few bucks, but I regret not spending a little more on a better brand. If ease of use, clarity, and proper functionality matter to you (especially for kids), I recommend looking elsewhere.

Have to pay return postage. No headphone jack no mention of that.
There is no headphone jack. It takes forever to arrive and I have to send it back because of no headphone jack I have to pay return delivery also no mention of that not happy don't buy
