I was worried my 11 year old niece might be too old for this gift - she's becoming so cool and grown up. But she said "That's adorable" and smiled a smile that reminded me of the 8 year old version, and I felt proud of my "Aunting" abilities.And my 6 year old nephews were jealous 😄

The light is reasonably bright. The paint is also decent. My main issue with it is that for the one we got, the light flickers if you move it at all. Usually it’s a non-issue since we sit it on the dresser, but any time it gets picked up or moved the light flickers a lot.
