I didnt purchase for a costume but for every day wear. It is great to keep the sun off your head neck if you don't have a hat or hood as well. So soft, light weight, breathable and beautiful quality. The color is exactly as it is in the photo.

I wore mine to a Renaissance festival. The fabric is very light and comfortable even in the Summer heat. On top of that, the blue is very pleasant.

100% POLYESTER!!!Despite what the product description says, mine (black-wavy stripe) is 100% polyester (NO COTTON) and it feels like polyester. I would have been okay with this if I had been told. Nowhere in the listing is it said that certain styles are made of a material different from the advertised 100% cotton.

This shawl is perfect for raves, the hood is extra big and doesn’t fall down at all. The material is lightweight and breathable, feels high quality. I washed mine on cold and let it air dry to avoid any shrinking. My partner and I each ordered one and they are a staple for us now when we go out.
