Since this book is an "Ultimate Study Guide" I was surprised when the beginning said that it’s a supplement.That said, it was thorough in what it aimed to do.I used to teach test prep classes about 15 years ago. Now I have my own kids.This book was distinct from books I used to use, which might also reflect a shift in the culture.What I mean is the emphasis on emotional prep to prepare for test anxiety by building confidence with power poses, deep breathing, gratitude, etc. That’s new to me.It mentioned aromatherapy.Also, the discussion of learning styles as part of effective studying was nice.All in all, I think this book has a lot to offer even if it doesn't have any practice tests.

High school students and parent need to look at this study guide. The study guide informed me on the history of the SAT surprised me how far it goes back, I love the part where parents can learn how to play a much better role in help their child. They should not put too much on their children and adjust to their learning style.
