These meet my criteria and are also low in sodium. The flavor although kind of bland is better than one would expect with only 3 mg of sodium per serving and no added fat. That said I'm surprised that there is seven grams of per serving because they are kind of dry. They have a somewhat chalky texture to them and it's not something you'll be able to eat without having something to wash it down with. I always welcome things like this because I don't drink enough fluids and this items like this always encourage me to meet my fluid quota. I like that they're vegan and minimally processed. I would definitely eat them again although I'm not sure it's something I would crave they would be sustaining and a meal replacement when in a pinch.Struggling a little bit with the star rating. For flavor I would give them a three but as a healthy snack that's also friendly to the planet I have to give them a five so averaging out to a four.The reclosable bag is always been official. The expiration date was June 15th 2026 so almost a year to eat them, of course they won't last that long here.

My first reaction to these roasted chickpeas was uncertainty, as I'm not usually a fan of the texture of chickpeas. However, the roasting process changes it enough that I don't mind these at all. They have a subtle crunch and a mild taste somewhere between unseasoned popcorn and some sort of nutty flavor. The texture is very even, with no hard, stale, or otherwise undesirable bits that I could find.If you're not a fan of very simple flavors, these might not satisfy you without adding salt or other seasonings, or mixing them with a more flavorful snack. However, to my surprise, I found I quite enjoyed them and kept coming back to nibble a few more. They're high in both protein and fiber, which makes them a fairly filling snack despite their size. Overall, I quite like these!

These double roasted chickpeas come in a foil bag that is at least double the size needed for the contents. The beans are mildly crunchy with a dry, almost powdery center. The only ingredient in these are the chickpeas themselves, with no salt, oil, or other seasoning. I like the taste of chickpeas, but would enjoy them more if the flavor had been enhanced even with mild seasoning. Still, these are a healthy source of protein and, while they may not be a favored snack, they will be good to add to salads or to garnish soups.

The yellow double roasted dried corn chickpeas are decent. The flavor is very mild and not salty at all. They are somewhat crunchy, but the texture is a bit strange, it becomes kind of chalky as you chew. It’s very dry, so I recommend having a drink with them. They’re not salty enough to be a typical “drinking snack,” but they’re nice to grab a few from the bag and munch on while you're on the go. Overall, it’s a unique and unusual snack.

Yellow Double Roasted Dried Corum ChickpeasI have never in my 50+ years eaten a chickpea and after my first bite, I did not love them. The texture is unusual and the texture is so shocking that at first I focused on that instead of the taste. Imagine a peanut that had never had any oil in it and that might describe it. And it does have a bit of a peanut taste to it as well and once you get past the texture, the flavor beings to grow on you. At least it did for me.The bag these are in is a good quality sealed bag and the product itself seems to be above average quality, there are no broken pieces and crumbs on the bottom of the bag.

These chickpeas are small, crunchy and perfectly roasted. They are entirely unseasoned, no salt or anything. I usually make my own roasted chickpeas and season them how I prefer, so these tasted plain to me. Because of that, I wouldn't eat these on their own as a snack, but they are delicious as a salad topper. They have a mild, tasty, nutty flavor.

I wasn't sure what to expect from these, but after munching on a handful of them, I found them to be...interesting. It's not a bad flavor, it's just very one-dimensional chickpea. I wish they had added some lemon zest or garlic or something to make it more fun. Also, the texture gets a little bit sandy while you're eating them. There's probably nothing that can be done about that. If the flavor were more fun, I would give this four stars and I would probably buy them again as a healthy treat. But as is, I would probably skip it for something else.If you're a super huge chickpea fan, you might like them anyway.

These roasted chickpeas have a nutty flavor and a surprisingly delicate texture. They have no salt or other flavoring and are just roasted chickpeas as the description states.It took a bit for my taste buds to adjust to the lack of salt, but after a few bites I could really appreciate the flavor. I try to stay away from wheat as much as possible, and the flavor of these reminds me of a no-salt pretzel or oyster cracker. I use them to add crunch a bit of nutty flavor to salads.
