My dog used to get carsick when riding in the front seat, but ever since I installed this in the back, he’s much more comfortable and relaxed during trips. The hard bottom makes a big difference - it creates a stable, extended surface so he’s not slipping between seats or constantly shifting around.Now he actually enjoys car rides! He’s able to lay down flat, and I can tell he feels more secure. Cleanup has also been a breeze. Mud, fur, and drool all wipe right off. Installation was quick and easy, and the fit works great in my sedan.This product has made driving with my dog safer, cleaner, and more enjoyable. I've gone through quite a few backseat covers for my long-haired Havanese, and most of them didn’t last or didn’t fit right. But this one has been a game-changer in my 2023 Hyundai Elantra. The surface is soft enough for her to relax on but tough enough to stand up to hair, dirt, and scratches. This dog seat cover was a total game-changer for road trips with our pup. The hard bottom extension is brilliant—it turns the entire backseat into a safe, stable, flat surface, which makes Scout way more comfortable (and less whiny) on long drives. No more falling into the footwell!The material is high-quality, feels super durable, and is easy to wipe clean after muddy park visits. The mesh window is also a great touch—he can see us up front and doesn’t get anxious like he used to. Bonus points for the storage pockets too—great for holding leashes, poop bags, and whatever random tennis ball he insists on bringing.It’s easy to install, fits great in our SUV, and stays in place. I hope it comes back in stock soon, because I’ve already recommended it to a few other dog-owning friends. Five stars, paws down.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Used this in the backseat of 4 door pickup truck. Worked as described. The flooring held up on our 9 hour trip with 3 dogs (two 45lb and one 25 lb). Loved the pocket which provided easy access to leashes and water bowl. We were able to still use the storage space in the floorboards (below the dog mat). In our vehicle, the screen did not do much to stop them from coming into the front seat. I'm not sure if that was designed to keep them out or just provide the dogs a viewing window. No complaints, we enjoyed the company! Highly recommend.

Used this for the first time yesterday for a vet checkup, and it's great! My dog is a 75lb lab mix, and I have a 2024 Kia Sportage. She likes to move around a lot, so the flat floor worked great. She (of course) got a pup cup for being a good girl at the vet, and I gave it to her in the car since the cover was so easy to clean. There were only a few drops that fell onto the cover and she did most of the cleanup work for me, haha.It's also very easy to put up and take down. With my old car, I used to just leave the cover on all the time (the hammock kind), but this one I took down right away when we got home and folded up to put in my trunk.The only cons are that the cover's floor area is a little slippery and the side panels under the window aren't 100% protective. It definitely covers the door panel itself, but drool and hair could still slip through while she's looking out the window (though WAY less of it than if I didn't have those side panels up at all). The side panels are adjustable in height, but this affects the flatness of the cover's floor which will start to pull upwards, too.Overall, I would definitely recommend! I may try to add some velcro to the side panels to tighten up the gaps and add some sort of no-skid texture to the cover's floor.

I bought this because of the price. My dog is 11 pounds and has been riding in the passenger seat on a stack of dog beds. Taking another person with me was impossible, unless they wanted to sit in the back seat... This seemed like an inexpensive option for occasional travel with a second person. But, it is amazing! The quality is excellent and it totally covers the back seat area making a very secure travel spot for my dog. I didn't receive any instructions, but it was pretty intuitive to figure out. I've distributed the dog beds in the enclosed area and am completely happy with my purchase. Actually, it could have cost much more and I still would have been pleased with the value. Highly recommend.

I won't go into too much detail but this saved my new car and sanity on a recent road trip! The dog got into something that didn't agree with her and I couldn't find a place to stop quick enough. This contained everything, nothing leaked through or spread! I was able to take care of the situation and continue with our travels. It washed easily at our first stop.We went from a truck to an SUV so I like the hard bottom but not sure how much it helps her. I like that the ends can hang down if you want. She seems fine laying on it with no cushion. 90lb lab mix car ride lover fully approved!
