No illustrations in the Eagle's Nest edition

This one star review is for the "Eagle's Nest Edition." The main description is just boilerplate for all editions and mentions all the illustration. The "Eagle's Nest Edition" is text-only and not illustrated. I found this out the hard way and had to return it.

Blueprint for Tomorrow: Essential Skills for a Sustainable Future

C.B. · March 16, 2025

This guide is a somewhat comprehensive resource that provides the reader with practical strategies for navigating the uncertainties of the future. To this end, it delves into essential skills like solar cooking and food preservation without electricity, providing a roadmap for establishing a resilient and sustainable society. You get invaluable insights if you are all in on the concept of sustainability—whether you're a prepper, an educator, or simply someone who believes the future matters.Another feature of the book is its focus on ethical leadership, responsible governance, and community-building. Clear, practical recommendations are given for building a leadership model that is reflective of and accountable to the communities it serves, leading to optimism that a more equitable society is possible. That said, while a broad range of topics is covered, a deeper dive into specific practices and more detailed guidance could make the book better. It may not be the exhaustive manual that it could have been, but it does offer a solid foundation for those looking to prepare for a potentially challenging future.

Pretty good

B.P. · April 10, 2025

This book is a super helpful and surprisingly beautiful guide to living more sustainably and building a better future. It covers everything from solar cooking and community building to ethical leadership and renewable energy. It doesn’t dive super deep into every topic, but there’s a lot of great info and practical advice. Whether you’re into prepping, teaching, or just want to be more prepared, it’s definitely worth a read—and it looks great on the coffee table too.

Misleading description

J.K. · December 10, 2024

This book has an interesting premise: society is going to end as we know it, and we will all have to count on ourselves to survive. Taking that context, the book covers topics related to survival in that world. From the written perspective, the book is a very high-level and surface view of what that survival would look like. It could stand a rewrite and spend a bit more time getting into specifics. Now, the part that earned it a 3 star. The description, which seems like AI wrote, discusses "Stunning Graphics" and Illustrations. There are none in the book at all. It is all text. While adding graphics may or may not have improved the book, it is misleading and someone looking for an illustrated book will be unhappy.

Poor Knock-off

S. · January 12, 2026

Not the book we were expecting. This has very little pictures (unlike the original I was hoping I was buying). I thought I was purchasing a used paperback for a discounted price. What I received was a hood-winked knockoff. Save your $20 for the original which you will have to purchase after.

Disappointing

t.d. · January 25, 2026

The book barely scratches the surface and and provides little specific information. I would not use this to protect my family
