1.0 out of 5 stars Don’t buy this!
(function() { P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function') { A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })(); .review-text-read-more-expander:focus-visible { outline: 2px solid #2162a1; outline-offset: 2px; border-radius: 5px; } Simply does not work. The edges are so dull they don’t even cut a single blade of grass! I want to return it but since I followed the instructions and put it together, I used the glue to seal the handle. Now I can’t take it apart to return it. Very frustrating and disappointing. ;(
2.0 out of 5 stars Not satisfactory
It doesn't cut the grass the way I was expecting it to.
3.0 out of 5 stars Ok...after some modification
I was looking for a way to practice my golf swing while cutting down wild grass and weeds. This product, more or less provides for that. It came with a loose grip that I had to remove and reinstall properly. The lie angle was too upright (for me) and had to be flattened to avoid bottoming out the heel. The serrated blade edge required specialized sharpening with various files (round and flat) to maximize cutting efficiency. Easier said than done, but after all that the product does what i wanted. The blade, however, should be heavier and weight added in the right place would increase extra momentum through the turf
4.0 out of 5 stars Just like way back.
It came in a rather small box. I thought it was gonna be all one piece. Guess I didn’t read the info correctly. I was able to put it together without directions, but I wasn’t sure what the little bottle with pink stuff in it was for. Then I was throwing the box out, and there was a picture on the top, and it explained that was glue and put it on the threads of the handle. it is just like the old one piece style. Nice and sharp.
5.0 out of 5 stars well built
I gave it 5 stars because its well built and and should last for a lifetime. However this or any other similar tool may not be what you expect as far as what it can do.If you have a large area of overgrown weeds or whatever, it might work but it will take a lot of effort. After all, it is a manual tool. Large areas need power tools.I got mine for a specific reason. Often in my area, we get a dry spell. The grass doesn't grow but the weeds do. You don't want to mow the entire lawn just to get the tall sporadic weeds. This tool is perfect for that. Just a few swings here and there and your lawn looks fine. One thing that really strikes me funny. They photoshopped a golfer using one of these....what's up with that....lol
1.0 out of 5 stars Very not usable
It is a good weight and easy to put together. However, it is so dull it won't cut light grass or weeds!. Probably the most useless product I have ever purchased!. Wish I could return it.
1.0 out of 5 stars Don’t buy!
Blade is dull, won’t cut, glue they give you to lock threads doesn’t work. Cheap Chinese crap! Don’t buy!
2.0 out of 5 stars Very short
Comea in very small box and must be assembled. Not like ild school whip. Very short maybe my wife can use it.
