Dried apricots are a regular snack for me, and usually sweet and tart enough to be a candy substitute. All the apricots in the Mixyway bag are large (half-dollar-sized or bigger) dried fruits. I noticed tiny black spots on some of the fruit which came off when brushed, so I chose to wash the fruit before I ate it; this is unusual for me, but maybe I haven’t inspected dried apricots this closely before. On the couple of pieces I sampled, I found the skin to be tough and leathery while the inside was soft, sweet and tart. I prefer my dried apricots soft, so on balance, I liked them. The product is packed in a resealable bag and the “Expiry Date” is about a year in the future. I'd rate them between a 3 and 4, so I'm rounding up.

The ad for these apricots shows two different variations -- a dark brown variation and an orange variation. Since the ingredient list presented says simply 'apricot' and nothing else, I expected to get the darker brown ones. Many years of buying dried apricots has taught me that the orange ones have a preservative on them, usually sulphur dioxide, while the brown ones do not.While that's not a big deal to many people, if you have a family member like us who experiences respiratory distress after consuming sulphur dioxide, it's a big deal. I can't imagine that these bright orange apricots don't have something on them, but according to the package, it's apricots only. When I buy unsulphured apricots -- or make my own -- they are not this color.Concerns over undisclosed ingredients earn this a one star rating.

These dried apricots taste good. They are nice and chewy with a very enjoyable crunch since these are not super dehydrated. It comes in a nice resealable bag.

These dried apricots are extra plump and sweet. They are slightly moist so they aren't leathery or hard to chew and have a concentrated sweet apricot taste. Resealable bag makes them handy to eat from and save for later. Like others, I am a little off put by the mistyped text on the bag and as a result, I am not sure if the listed ingredients and nutritional facts are trustworthy. They are delicious dried apricots but the uncertainty makes me a little uncomfortable.

These Turkish apricots are exceptional. They are large, plump, and flavorful. No nonsense or unnecessary ingredients added, just raw dried apricots. Seems like they nailed the timing of dehydrating them as there were no odd or unripe pieces in my bag. I think these are a must try for any dried fruit or apricot fans.

These Mixyway Dried Turkish Extra Large Size Apricots are light orange, very soft apricots, which means they are likely sulfurized. Since the ingredients listed only “dried apricots” I was expecting them not to have added sulfur dioxide. They aren’t sweet, and have almost no flavor. I don't recommend them.
