I installed this on 6 200 watt solar panels, I'm still trying to figure out what would be the best configuration for my panels and I may even add 3 more panels in next few weeks,Right now I'm only using two positive and two negative connections, I was using them all at one point, but once again, I'm still trying to figure out the best configuration for my panels so that is why I like this connector, it allows me to try different configuration without having to replace the connector entirely.If course you do not want to leave one connector exposed as I'm and I will not keep it expose it, specially because we are expecting rain this week.Works good, and it has saved me time and effort from trying from replacing the connector while trying different panel configuration, overall I can recommend it.

I ordered this splitter as I have four 100-watt solar panels on order that I have not yet received. I plan on connecting the panels in parallel with this splitter, in order to charge a 7200-watt inverter battery. I am hoping that the cables on the panels are long enough so that I can position the short cabled splitter, so that all panel cables can connect. I do like the fact that the splitter connectors are tool free and a snap to connect. Hopefully it all works out, and I will update this review with performance info as soon as I can.

This is a great product and will allow you to connect up to four solar panels on parallel. It is easy to use and a great value for the money. The ability to link your solar panels together will speed up up charging and decrease the time required. Make sure to check the specs of your power station to make sure it can handle the amps. This false advertising needs to stop! TOOL FREE? NO CONNECTOR REQUIRES TOOLS TO CONNECT! TOOL IS REQUIRED TO DISCONNECT! THE PICTURE IN AD IS DECIEVING! DISCONNECTING IS THE ONLY STEP THAT REQUIRES TOOS AND THERE ARE AND I HAVE TRUE TOOL FREE CONNECTORS. THESE ARE NOT!

This is a good set of pigtails. Using to replace a jerry rigged setup i had for my panels where i had a bunch cobbled together on a giant crimp and they worked great for that purpose. Overall, very happy with this setup.

I use this to test various solar panel combinations. I tested this with four, 100W solar panels and it worked great!The MC4 connections appear to be well made, the cable seems to be a good solid gauge (probably 10 gauge or better) and the connections disengage properly.If you need to combine 4 solar connections into 1, this is a great system, at a great price.

A one into four short run connector. This is exactly what I needed for my four solar panels to combine down into a dual run to the charge control unit. The plastic housing on each connector feels just as nice as my other mc4 connectors. The cables feel thick and well insulated with a nice center mounting block holding them all together. So far all of the connectors have worked just as intending without any issues. I am very pleased with this splitter and it has helped with my setup. 5 stars.
