These UTI test strips work great. They’re really easy to use, and they’re convenient to have.The results show up quickly on the test strips. It only takes a couple of minutes. It’s not messy when self-testing or anything. It’s easy to grip the handle on the strip.These are awesome to have around since UTIs are quite common and can cause a lot of discomfort when not treated.Using one of these test strips allows you to save time and money by not having to see a doctor, and you can use home remedies if caught early. This is even more convenient when traveling to an area where you might not be able to easily see a doctor to know for sure if you have a UTI.

I'll admit, I'm a paranoid person. I sometimes wonder if something is wrong, down there, and don't want to go pay for the urgent care or ED to tell me I'm fine. By the way, too much onion can make urine smell unusually bad. The package came with a set of instructions that were pretty standard of pee for a moment then run the test under the stream for a moment, and wait 2 minutes to check the results. Kind of like a pregnancy test. Every test is individually wrapped and has the color coded chart on it so no need to worry about losing the instructions. Luckily my test came out negative, but it's good to know. I have several tests left in case I need to retest in the future. Easy to use and to use anywhere. I do with they had added the line or two of the time frame on the packet itself though as a reminder.

These UTI test strips are incredibly easy to use, and are like night and day compared to the cheap bottle full of mass thin paper strips.The reading area is very large on the strip, so there is no missing it, or ambiguity as to what the color is. The thumb grip makes this so much easier than holding onto a flimsy paper strip. They are individually sealed for freshness.I took off one star as there is no way this is "FDA Approved"-this doesn't even fall under the FDA's review or scope of what they do. These strips are also made in China, so any guesses as to accuracy in sensitive situations is better left to a doctor's office.

Nitrite test pads should be white in color. Only 3 pcs of the 25 pcs were white & the rest of the nitrite pad were light purple in color. Expiration date is 12/31/2025

These tests save a lot of time and money over needing to go get testing done when one only has a few symptoms. I ordered two kinds to compare so I could say more than just "it works“ or "it doesn't work.” What I preferred about this one is that every individual package had the comparison strip on it. While that meant there was more waste, it also meant not possibly dripping on the bottle the other style was in. The bottle cost less per test, but I wouldn't want to share it with other household members for the above reason. The tests in the bottle checked for more infection markers than these tests though. I got virtually the same “negative but one questionable color” results from both tests, which correlated with my usual “negative but one marker slightly elevated” test results at wellness checkups. It seems like either this set of individually packaged tests or the other bottle of tests would probably work fine to judge whether to make an appointment, get some cranberry juice, or drink extra water.

The test kits are well done with easy to follow instructions. The 2 indicators that this test measures in the urine are leukocytes and nitrites. It is important to know that these are indicators only for a possible UTI, not a definitive test by any means for a UTI. The only definitive test for a UTI is a urine culture which is performed by a lab and is ordered by a healthcare provider. These tests are great for sharing results with your provider along with all symptoms you are experiencing. If you test negative for leukocytes and nitrite, but are experiencing urinary symptoms or abdominal/pelvic related symptoms or concerns, it is still important you follow up with your provider. There are other tests for urine that are considered important such as for blood, whether you can see it or not, and are important to have done by an actual provider - which this kit does not provide and is indicated for a full urinary work-up as well as other tests. For people who have ongoing urinary issues with an established plan of care, these are very good kits to have on hand that can offer some peace of mind and help initiate a further plan of care with the provider involved.
