These block are well made. They are great, not only for router tables, but table saw depth as well for dados, dentil moldings and mortise and tenon joints. Glad I bought them, easier then using a steel ruler for blade depth! Just make sure to measure against the flat tooth if you are using an alternate top bevel blade.

This is a really nice set: smoothly machined, beautifully anodized, etched markings (not painted), so many ways to measure each dimension - depending on what's the most convenient for the user, they included a few 16th measures, stackable, and ANGLES included...And they come in a plastic case, nestled in firm foam for protection and ease of access.So why only 4 stars? Only because of the chose of measures - which is to be sure, as good as the competition. And they included the 3/16, 5/16 and 7/16 in a kit based on 1/8th inch, which was thoughtful. It's the missed opportunity in those 5/16 and 7/16 bars: each of those could be easily made from stacking the 3/16 +1/8 and 3/16+1/4. That means the 5/16 and 7/16 bars could have been chosen better: maybe a 1/16 and a a 3/32 ??? Would have made the whole kit so much more versatile.

Simply put - This is a beautiful aluminum gauge block set. The machining is impeccable, etching is crisp and clean (makes me feel like I'm using reading glasses when I'm not), The blue anodize - perfect, and they all fit snuggly and look great in the hard foam insert inside a hinged latching plastic case. I've been using them - I really like them for setting depths on my table saw – single blade & dado stack. I haven't used them a lot on the router tables yet; they're nice for setting juice grooves depths for cutting boards and just about any joint you could route (dove tails, box joints, rabbits). I was a little disappointed when I realized that these won't work with any of my raised door panel style & rail bit sets - the center gauge / underneath the bridge - isn't wide enough for the router bits to pass through. I think that opening should be about 1/2" wider. Especially, since those depths are critical when making cabinet doors. I have two router tables - so I should only have to do 1 setup for each bit - but every time I do a set of doors I end up have to do the set up more than once. If you only have 1 router table it can be TeDiOuS. It would be really nice if these gauge blocks accommodated my rail and style bit set (underneath the bridge). I'm not going to knock 'um for that – It is a beautiful set – they are what are – and they do have many – many uses in my wood & my machine shop.I'll say 7 Super Novas for The Blockcision Setup Block Set~ Thanks for Reading – Have an Incredible Life! ~
