For the travel days these watering trays were perfect. Just had to fill the main res and gravity did the rest. It can get a lil nasty if your mixing your nutes in. A good cleaning every 3 weeks and youre golden.

Quit playing the watering game. Highly recommend. Simply moisten the soil to get the system started, very dry dirt wont moisten up. Once everything is moist, it will stay that way, providing the perfect moisture level 24/7. Just keep the reservoir full of water.I found the bags that came with this setup is slightly thin, allowing the dirt to become super wet. If this happens, and dirt becomes too wet for your particular plant species, just use 1 wicking rope instead of 2, or upgrade to a thicker grow bag. I went with thicker, 7 gallon grow bags from a different company and the whole setup works amazing.

This is a great concept except for the fact that it takes about 5 gallons of water just to get to the drain hose! This means you will have to empty stagnant water. Mixing nutes would also be a huge waste. I used a 5 gallon food grade bucket with a drain at the bottom and it works much better, no wasted water or nutes.

The media could not be loaded. Great product here if ya want an automated watering system that works by gravity. All the materials are very well made and looks like they should last a while. Simple to set up and I canβt wait till I have some planting enough to start using this system! I will review further once I have a grow going. Iβll also add another video then too.

I wasted.my money so you dont have too . Its leaky and cheaply made the only thing of quality was the water wicks and being dyed black they are probly bad for the plants but idk that for sure

This is a game changer! At first i was sceptic and i had my questions. But as a die hard Spider farmer fan boy i decided to give it a shot. This system runs like a train! At least the water supply to the plants does. My plants are overall greener healthier and stronger due to never lacking water and never overwatering. With this system i top feed organic liquid fertiliser and additives while the roots suck up clean water from below. I did elevate the system 40 cm off the ground to ensure proper gravity. A full tank last about a week and so i would suggest you give this system a shot and enjoy your vacation. At half the price but with the same quality as the competition, this is a 5 out of 5 all day. W!
Yes, this is worth it!
well, it's more affordable than the AC Infinity version, it comes with an actual reservoir, though it kinda sucks that the outspout is so high above the bottom of the reservoir that you're esentially robbed of about 2liters, BUT I can still go away for a week or so without having to worry at all about watering or about an automatic drip system that floods my grow tent or grow room.It also beats sourcing all the individual parts, and here in Canada, to DIY this yourself, you'd only be saving about maybe $25. SO to have all this in the box for you, at almost half the price of the AC infinity version, yeah this is a no brainer. My plants are doing SUPER well.I will say though, I don't like the fabric pots it comes with, they're too tall in my opinion, so I bought my own, wider but shallower, so the water reaches higher up, if that makes sense.
GAME CHANGER FOR BUSY GARDENERS
This is my first self-watering system, and it's been a game changer! Watering used to take up so much time, but now I can just fill the reservoir and relax for the week. My garden is happy and healthy with vibrant strong plants. Definitely worth checking out if you're a busy gardener like me!
Leaks - manufacturing fault
I set it up outside to test for leaks. Initially the joins around the on/off tap, leaked no matter how firm I screwed it in. This was fixed for some plumbers tape/thread seal. After leaving it for an hour or so I noticed that there was water on the floor. On closer inspection I could see water droplets forming, coming from the seam around the bottom of the bucket. It looks as if this was a manufacturing fault as what I thought was glue residue is actually fibers from the bucket material protruding through the join and hence where the water is leaking from. I will contact the seller and hope that a replacement can be sent.

El depΓ³sito es grande y aguanta perfectamente para mantener las plantas hidratadas durante muchos dΓas, incluso cuando estoy fuera de casa.Lo que mΓ‘s me ha gustado es que mantiene la humedad de forma constante, las plantas crecen sanas y con buen ritmo, sin los altibajos tΓpicos de regar a mano. Los materiales se ven de buena calidad y el diseΓ±o de las bases para maceta es muy prΓ‘ctico porque se adapta a distintos tamaΓ±os.Como punto a mejorar, el grifo del depΓ³sito queda un poco alto y siempre queda algo de agua en el fondo, pero no es nada grave. En general, estoy muy satisfecho con la compra: cΓ³modo, fiable y perfecto para olvidarte del riego durante semanas.Lo recomiendo totalmente a quien busque un sistema de riego automΓ‘tico sencillo y efectivo.
