Absolutely love these gravity salt and pepper grinders! The automatic feature is a game-changer — just flip it over and it starts grinding without any buttons or twisting. It’s super convenient, especially when I’m cooking and my hands are messy or full.The grind is adjustable, so I can get anything from a fine dusting to a coarser texture depending on what I’m making. They also look sleek on the counter and light up when in use, which is surprisingly helpful and adds a cool touch.They make me feel like I’m living in the future — and honestly, I kind of am. Highly recommend if you cook a lot or just want a little upgrade for your kitchen!

I was at a friend's house cooking and they had high end electric grinders that they got as a wedding gift. I really liked them but when I looked up the price I knew I would not be getting this brand. I researched and found these and for the price decided to try them out. That was about 5 or 6 months ago and I love them. I decided to purchase an additional set for my mom after watching her struggle with her large wooden manual pepper grinder due to her arthritis. She uses them daily and also loves them. We use flaked kosher salt instead of Rock salt as this is what we usually use anyway. I actually like it more than the high end grinders, there is no button to push and it automatically comes on when you turn it over to use it. I also like that it lights up making it easier to see how much is being dispensed. So far still using the original set of batteries in mine. They are nicely built and I plan on buying several more sets to give to family as gifts this coming Christmas.

Ok, when I first unboxed it, I honestly thought I'd received a defective unit until I figured out there's a VERY small rubber stopper placed to keep it from turning on during shipping. (There's nothing in the directions that tells you that.) What I do like about it: The fact that it dispenses pepper as soon as you flip it and the fairly large and easy to fill clear plastic cup - which also lets you see exactly when to refill. The advantage to top-dispensing units is that when you're done, you don't have the last grinds of pepper all over your table/countertop (unlike my last bottom dispensing model). I'm not seeing a huge difference in grind size but I've only played with that part moderately.Durability is still a question since I've only had it a short while but honestly, at this price point, if it lasts a couple of years I'll be satisfied. Easy to charge, seems to go quite awhile with a single charge.Overall, with my experience so far, I'd definitely recommend it.

I have bought six sets of two of these grinders in the past 8-10 years from Bolo. I have three separate locations and have had the same problems in every kitchen. I like the look and the operation of these grinders. They have expanded the finishes offered lately but I have always gotten the brushed silver which wears well and always looks good. The blue led lights look and work fine too. Fortunately, a set gives two identical grinder units (salt and pepper are the same). The clear plastic reservoir at the bottom allows you to see when to refill and it never breaks. The ONLY problem with these grinders is that the salt grinder (never the pepper) eventually corrodes and freezes and no longer works. Also, the salt gets into the battery compartment and the contacts corrode and prevent the electrical connections. I have disassembled non-functioning units and found salt completely encasing the works. It usually takes a year or two of use for the salt grinder to stop working. So, I've bought other sets so that then I have TWO new salt grinders to match my long-functioning pepper grinder. I guess it's understandable that salt is so damaging that any metal will get corroded regardless. However it seems to me that if there could be some way to isolate the batteries and the inside works from the salt dust with rubber "O" rings or such, the units would work longer (like the pepper). So, I give only 4 stars because of this design fault. Lastly, the newest set that I've just received came with a change that seems to compromise the power of the grinder. They changed from SIX AAA batteries(old) to FOUR AAA's(new). The four-battery grinder works harder but not better. Seems weaker grinding. So next time I may have to downgrade to 3 stars. Obviously, I like these grinders and they aren't very expensive so just consider them semi-disposable and order extras like I have.

Product is exactly as described, solidly put together and sturdy. I had different grinders that were flimsy and awful (came apart almost constantly) and these are exactly what I’d wanted initially and made a perfect replacement. There’s a little bit of a learning curve for setting the grind but it’s not enough to be even annoyed about. Filling these is a dream — very easy. They’re not top- or bottom- heavy which is a huge plus for those times you’re just grabbing for salt or pepper and not really focusing on it. And they look nice. We’ve used them daily for over a week and there’s no sign of fingerprints or any crud (I wipe them off when I clean up after meals, but I’m starting to wonder if I really even need to do that daily). Just perfect if you want auto grinders.

Sleek and modern
The media could not be loaded. They’re super nice and work well. They’re gravity fed, so when you tilt the shake, it turns on the grinder. We bought a pair in a retail store before and these surpass the old one by far. The old ones were much louder and let out less. The new ones are much quieter and let out a decent amount. We have the thing turned down low too. Our old ones also had the grinder on the bottom, so there was always debris on the countertop. That isn’t an issue with this style. Definitely recommend.
Easy to use without the fuss
Great product. Easy to use, no fuss, and no bits dropping out of the bottom whilst in the cupboard.
