All the important keys (esc, delete, enter, backspace, tab etc.) and locations were on this keyboard! Used it with n Cad program and fit prefectly to use with my left hand when runing that program and the mouse with my right hand. Hardly had to ever use the main full size keyboard with my Cad program.

I love the = and the () on the pad. I use Excel often with formulas and hate that I have to hold shift.I work from home and in the office it's small and compact so it fits in my bag great.

Good keypad BUT the lack of a docked location for the dongle leads to it easily getting misplaced during storage, other than that I like it (A Bluetooth mode would have been nice as most systems now are Bluetooth equipped)

This is an absolute must have for me. My work provided laptop doesn't have a number pad. I do medical coding so I use the number pad ALL the time. When I'm in my office I use a docking station to connect to a larger display and full sized ergonomic keyboard. This thing comes in handy for those times when we get held in a meeting for way too long, but I still have to get some work done. It connects easily and is so easy to use.

I found myself getting acclimated to automatically reaching over to use this mini numeric keyboard. It definitely makes entering numbers a lot easier on a laptop than using the ones in the top row of the keyboard. The battery life is supposedly quite long and from my usage of it, it would last for at least a week and probably longer on a charge. The manufacturer says it will charge fully in just one hour.What could make it better - in my opinion - would be making the keys backlit, as that seems to be the way things are going on many keyboards now, and would make seeing the keys a lot easier especially in low light. Also, it has no way to adjust the tilt or height, so it sits very low to your work surface and very likely at a different level than your laptop's main keyboard. Being at a different height may make it a bit clumsy or awkward to switch back and forth between using the laptop keyboard and using this one.It comes with a cable to recharge it or for you to use it connected to your PC or laptop directly; it has a dongle for wireless use which connects instantly to the keypad, assuming you have an open USB-A slot on your computer. It automatically powers itself off after a period of non-use but switches right back on again as soon as you start to use it - this helps preserve the battery life so you needn't worry about turning it off yourself when not using it. One last detail, it has a switch to alternate between a Windows layout and a Mac OS layout. I think a lot of people who need to enter figures into some application i.e. a spreadsheet will find this to be a very helpful device to have.
