After trying several other brands that struggled to maintain a stable connection with my Samsung S22 Ultra, this unit impressed me by connecting flawlessly on the very first attempt—and it has stayed connected consistently ever since.Installed in my 2017 Jeep Wrangler, this system proved to be the perfect solution. While my factory radio includes touchscreen navigation, it’s nearly a decade old and the maps are outdated. I usually rely on my phone for Waze and Google Maps, but as I get older, the small screen is harder to see. Mounting this unit in portrait mode was a great choice—it partially covers the A-pillar but doesn’t create any significant blind spots.Bluetooth connectivity is noticeably faster than my stock radio, and with the Bluetooth audio option enabled, all music and audio stream seamlessly through my Alpine speakers. Although I already have a backup camera wired to my factory radio and won’t be using the included camera for that purpose, I’m considering installing it as a forward-facing camera because the image quality is impressively clear.Overall, this unit has exceeded my expectations. If I had another vehicle that needed Android Auto or Apple CarPlay, I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase this again. Highly recommended for anyone looking to modernize their in-car tech with reliable connectivity and excellent features!

My 2015 Jeep's Uconnect was just outside the window of time where Android Auto would be able to connect to it. Google or Apple just weren't supported, and they charge 80 bucks a year to enable some of thr things Android Auto does for free. I thought my only option was to spe d the 2k+ to fully replace the head unit so that I could just use my phone with my car normally.Then I stumbled upon this fantastic little device, and I'm thrilled. For the price, it does everything I want and need, and now I have access to all the things Android Auto does, as well as the ability to use the car buttons to continue to control the radio. Hitting the green call button still triggers the Uconnect assistant and retains it's limitations, but a simple "Ok Google" fixes that, along with removing the limitations of texting.They also offer an anniversary program that couples with leaving a review of the product. I still would have written this review without the bonus, as this little screen is great. I've had it i. Use for almost a month now and have ZERO regrets.I got the model that came with the reverse camera, but have not used it with my system as I already have a backup cam. The instructions guide you to hook in to the tail light cable to have the camera automatically give you a view when you enter reverse.Tldr;If your vehicle is too old for Android Auto, get this! I use the bluetooth connection, but there are other ways to integrate it into your car, even over radio. It will improve your quality of life in the car, 100%

Great car tablet!!! Great screen resolution, very clear FM connection for music, and really like the ability to have the display either portrait or landscape.

This device works as it should, EXCEPT there is continuous impulse noise -- pop, pop, pop, pop, pop -- at the audio output when it is connected to the car's audio system through an AUX cable. This makes it very unpleasant to use with GPS voice instructions over the car's speakers. For me, this is a critical shortcoming, I depend on voice instructions to free me from having to watch the map. I tried a different 3amp cigarette lighter plug-in USB power connection but that did not change the noise at all, so I conclude the noise is being generated in the device due to poor isolation between the digital circuits and the analog audio output.Also, in Android Auto mode the connection to my phone is very slow. If you want to enter a destination shortly after starting your engine, you will have to wait considerably longer than seems reasonable.Furthermore, Krunia claims OTA firmware updates of the firmware but there is no mention of that on their website and no updates available. I don't think it will happen.Too late to return; I would if I could, it wasn't inexpensive.

I love this CarPlay! I initially purchased a Krunia 9" but I returned it to get this type of screen. I tried other brands but Krunia stood out! their customer service is amazing! Try it! But the only issue and they said they'll work on it is the display might not work with polarized sunglasses! So be aware that you can't use your sunglasses with this display as it goes pitch black but it is super super bright even under direct sunlight! Easy to install and great features! Value for the money for sure! recommended!
