My grandmother is getting older, and with that comes the unfortunate realization that we all need a little more help than we used to. Getting this for her shower has given me some much needed peace. Showers are notorious for slips and falls , so this was very needed. It is EXTREMELY secure and will not budge! Feel so much safer with her alone in there, for now. Great buy!

Units like the ones we received should be subject to a RECALL! We got these yesterday. They looked solid and the suction cups were protected because they were sticky. While there were no instructions or precautions included in the box. However, it's very simple, you remove the protective covers, raise the locking levers behind each cup, place the handle on a clean non-porous surface, close the levers and they're ready to go! The problem is the levers on our units did not draw the cups into the cup housing, so closing the levers did not add any suction. I discovered this when the handle came off the wall while I was steadying myself. Fortunately, I was able to catch myself. It could have been bad!

Units like the ones we received should be subject to a RECALL! We got these yesterday. They looked solid and the suction cups were protected because they were sticky. While there were no instructions or precautions included in the box. However, it's very simple, you remove the protective covers, raise the locking levers behind each cup, place the handle on a clean non-porous surface, close the levers and they're ready to go! The problem is the levers on our units did not draw the cups into the cup housing, so closing the levers did not add any suction. I discovered this when the handle came off the wall while I was steadying myself. Fortunately, I was able to catch myself. It could have been bad!
