It's a Otterbox Defender. So it's not slim or svelte, but it's the best protective case you can get for an iPhone. In the all black, I think it looks good. It's got an inner plastic trim that goes on your phone, which has a rubbery cushioned liner. Around the inner trim goes a thick polyurethane cover that absorbs bumps and scrapes easily. It's got fairly strong MagSafe magnets integrated, so it will maintain connection to a mount easily. If you want to protect your thousand dollar phone, this is really the best case for the job.

Lip of case barely elevated enough to protect from front facing drops, same with camera area. Will see how it holds up over time since the defender series has done great for previous phones, but going to place glass screen protector just in case.

Well made
It’s what you would expect from OtterBox. Comfortable in the hand very grippy. Only negative would be the massive cut out on the side for the new button. Sure they could’ve come up with something better as other cases have. However, I still recommend this case if you want good protection.
