This could allow moisture to get on the rods. I don’t think the rods absorbed any moisture as they worked well.

For this price (currently $8.99), this is a great deal for a pound of electrodes, which equates to 14 sticks. As most welders know, E6013 is great for beginning welders, as they are as close to all-purpose welding sticks as there are. A great price for great sticks.
