Stylish, supportive, and incredibly comfortable
The first thing you notice is the vibrant pink color—it’s bold yet classy, making it a fun choice for runners who like a bit of personality in their gear.Comfort-wise, these shoes are top-notch. The cushioning feels plush but responsive, thanks to Brooks’ DNA LOFT v3 midsole. It provides excellent shock absorption without feeling too soft, making long runs or daily walks easy on the feet. The fit is true to size, with a secure heel and roomy toe box that prevents rubbing or blisters.The breathable mesh upper keeps your feet cool, and the overall build quality feels durable enough to handle plenty of miles. The traction is solid on both pavement and light trails, and the shoe transitions smoothly from heel to toe.
Love the support and cushion
This is my second pair of Brooks Ghost shoes. I have narrow feet and it has taken me years to find a brand for walking shoes that I could rely will fit when I need a new pair. I am a size 11 narrow in shoes. I came across Brooks about 3+ years ago. I had never worn them but I have tried Nike, Adidas, New Balance, Asics, Naturalizer, and Sketchers. New Balance were the only ones that fit my but they lacked any design or fun colors for what I wanted in a shoe. I am a heavy walker, meaning I strike the ground a little hard with each step, so there is pressure on my heels. I like the Ghost model shoe because it has a good amount of heel cushion without losing stability. Brooks uses some material that provides cushion and a little bounce without being too springy feeling. Some brands soles are very squishy and/or thick causing a lot of lateral tilting movement which can result in me twisting my ankle. Who needs that? I prefer to get black shoes, again size 11 so they can double as a canoe, but I like that I still have a little color on the shoes. I very much dislike all black athletic shoes with black uppers and black bottoms - to me they look like old man shoes. The first Ghost model I bought lasted me over 3 years, though I've needed to replace them for a couple months, they still stood up and provided good support. Honestly I would still be using them but the fabric on top finally starting splitting from wear. I do walk about 10,000+ steps/per day so they have gotten tons of use since I use them every single day of the year. The soles were still in good shape with tread left which was not my experience with Nike or New Balance. So if you need a pair of reliable, comfortable, supportive and cute shoes I highly recommend Brooks. :)
Another Great Pair of Brooks Ghost running shoes
These Brooks Ghost are comfy and great right out of the box. The toe box seems a little bit smaller than my old Brooks Ghost but, I’ll just wear thinner socks until I break them in. The arch support and cushion is spot-on!
Finally, some real support.
Do you have over pronation? Because I certainly do and these shoes are great. The first few days made me want to throw them out the window HOWEVER I broke them in and now I am in love! I walk about 5-8 miles a days and these are perfect for that. Good arch support, very cushioning and true to size. Sometimes I go hike and it can handle that too. They look pretty stylish and cute so they appear to be the full package.I feel very secure wearing these shoes and feel that they offer the absolute best support for my over pronation condition. The impact is very minimal because of all the pain extra cushion.I could babble on and on but y’all get the point.Stay away from any Puma brand shoes, they are the enemies of those of us with flat feet.
Great for flat feet
These shoes are so good for daily runs + walking. I am a size 8 with flat feet, and these shoes work so great! They are comfortable and have great ankle support. The only reason why I gave this product 4 stars is because of the comfortability. They are comfortable, don't get me wrong, I run quite a few miles in these. They just aren't the most cushiony (like Hoka, which I can't wear because of my flat feet). So, if you're okay with a sthats good for walking + distances with great ankle support (fun colors) and moderate cushiony, I'd highly suggest it (these are my daily trainers for half marathon training.
Just the best
Perfection. I wore my last pair of Ghost 13 for three years, time for new! Love this color (the coconut I think it’s called) very on trend but neutral. These shoes are amazingly comfortable and well made. They also wash well if they get dirty. They are worth every penny and I’m excited to have a new pair.
Comfort
Yes very good shoe, I’ve been wearing brooks for many years. I recently broke my foot and since it’s healed have had a lot of Pain. This shoe is very comfortable and relieves the pain when walking or working out.
Snug fitting; true to size
Shoes hug the foot more closely than other Brooks Ghosts I've had. (I've been a Brooks Ghost wearer since Ghost 8 which I wore until the tread wore off the bottom. I love the Brooks Ghost family!) Other than the snugness, the shoe size (8.5 medium) fits as expected in the length and width and has good arch support. I don't run. But, having arthritis, I favor a walking shoe that cushions the soles of my feet. These look like they will do the trick. Love the yellow color.
