The makers have addressed every issue in previous reviews. The battery lid is secure (especially when itβs in the stand), thereβs a bright blue sticker next to the power button so itβs easy to find, and you no longer hold down the button to turn the light off. You simply scroll through the lighting options until itβs off. Thereβs also a sheet enclosed to explain some of the other things people took issue with: lightweight plastic lens (being perceived as βcheapβ instead of understanding this new technology). And bonus! Included in the package is a protective microfiber pouch that doubles as a screen cleaner.I foresee years ago reading and crafting pleasure using this magnifier.

This was just delivered not 20 minutes ago. Of course I had to check it out. I havenβt actually used it for my Diamond Art but I set it up over the canvas to see how it would look. It is amazing!! I was using a hand held magnifying glass which is very awkward doing crafts. The numbers on the canvas are so clear. It is very light weight, easy to angle it where you need it. Iβm going to love this!!!! Highly recommend this already.

The LED magnifying page reader seems well made & does the job. It takes some practice to learn the correct position for a clear image & it can be dizzying until you figure it out. I gave 4 stars only because it can be awkward trying to hold a book & get the magnifier in the right position. Itβs definitely working for me though!

This product is a big help in reading the fine print of the New Hork Times.You only need the one unit, with the stand. It's designed so you can remove the magnifying unit fromthe stand and just hold it with our hands. But the stand is helpful if you have problems holding the magnifying unit for long periods of time...

The VIEWABLE lens space is 4.25" x 7" which, for studying textbooks is not practical. The lens is supposed to be high quality, but it's like any page-size bendable magnifier : it has concentric rings, which can distort the outer edges of your field of view. The frame is very flimsy and you have to 'click' it a LOT to get it into some usable position. By then, you wonder if the 'clicking' over and over will easily wear down. The sides don't move in tandem; you have to keep moving one side then the other to keep them level with each other.Requires 3 AAA batteries (not included). I had to put them in/out several times before the lights would even turn on.A short 'pop' to the on/off button will work, but HOLDING the on/off will NOT work. There are 3 light levels and the brightest is quite bright. I like the 3rd one - the blue light. It provides illumination but is easy on my eyes.I'll use it because I bought it and I can't find anything wrong with it. But it's disappointingly cheap and doesn't magnify entire pages of my textbooks as I need (and I've tried hanging it from the top of the book, etc.).Since I also do artwork - and some of it is quite fine and up close - I can see using this as a hands-free magnifier for artwork. Again, it's not great quality because it's not glass. I'll find a use for it.

This magnifier is great. It fits the entire page unlike smaller magnifiers, so you don't have to constantly move the magnifier. It also has lights to help you see in the dark. I recommend this for anyone who needs a little extra help seeing those tiny words.

I bought the MagniPros 5X Large LED Page Magnifier for my dad, who has reading difficulties due to glaucoma. This magnifier has made a noticeable difference in his ability to read comfortably and with much less strain. The large viewing area and clear magnification allow him to see the text clearly without constantly repositioning the lens.He especially appreciates the three color lighting modes, which help reduce glare and eye fatigue depending on the time of day or lighting in the room. The anti-glare lens is a thoughtful feature, and the built-in LED lights provide just the right amount of brightness.Overall, my dad is very happy with this product, and I'm grateful that something so simple can make such a big impact on his daily life. Highly recommend for anyone with vision challenges.

Product arrived on time. I am excited to try it. I didnβt realize that the batteries were not included, but that is ok. My only comment is that it is a little βlighterβ in weight than expected. I hope it is sturdy and durable enough. I am not sure of that at this time because it is too soon to tell.

This magnifier is literally live saver for students with tired eyes. I am a mother and I study mostly evening, so without this helper I would not see anything. However the stand would be really good. Like this I feel I donβt have enough hands to move pages and same time hold the magnifier and do the notes. After they make version with stand it gonna be master piece.

I will try to make this review easier to read by summarizing my likes and dislikes (more appropriately called "room for improvement" because they are not deal breakers for me).Likes:1) The magnifier does not distort the text you are reading. This makes reading a pleasant experience.2) The larger reading area helps improve my reading experience.3) The LED lights work great at the highest setting (but I have more comments on this below).4) The magnifier is very light even when using it with three batteries.5) This came with a free lens cleaning cloth. I also got a free ruler/magnifier, which is very useful when you are on the go (e.g. reading food labels while in a supermarket).6) The magnifier can also be used without turning on the LED light if you have enough lighting in your reading area.Dislikes ("room for improvement"):1) I wish that the handle is a little larger. I also prefer to have a handle on both sides to give people the option to hold the magnifier with two hands for better balance.2) I mentioned above the the LED lights work great at the highest setting. However, the lighting is not bright enough for reading when you are using the "in between" settings. Before buying this magnifier, I got the impression that the lighting can be used in 2 to 3 brightness settings but that was not what I experienced.3) I wish that the magnifier came with a cloth bag for storage (or give us an option to buy a carrying case). My concern is that the lens can easily get scratched if you leave it lying around when not using it.Overall, I give this magnifier 4.5 stars based on my comments above. I will round it up to 5 stars for purposes of this review because I am happy with the magnifier overall. I strongly recommend it for people who have a hard time reading smaller texts.
