I bought this thinking it would be another gimmick—just a glorified pillow with delusions of grandeur. What I got instead was a lap-based miracle that turned my recliner into a reading throne.This thing holds my book open like it’s auditioning for a job as a butler, in a Jane Austen novel, in tails. No slipping, no collapsing, no need to perform Cirque du Soleil finger acrobatics just to keep the pages from flapping shut. It props the book up at a perfect angle, and the soft cushion molds to my lap like it’s been training for this moment its whole life. I read under a tornado of a ceiling fan, and the pages stay just where I want them.In the recliner? Sublime. I sink back, the stand settles in, and suddenly I’m reading hands-free like some kind of aristocrat who’s too refined to touch paper. I’ve gone entire chapters without adjusting anything other than to flip the page—except my snack-to-mouth ratio.Also, it’s grey, which means it goes with everything, including my questionable life choices and the blanket I have had since childhood.If you read physical books (no doubt great for electronics as well but I'm old school on reading) and enjoy comfort, dignity, and not having your wrist cramp into a claw, this stand is your new best friend. Five stars. Would let it hold my secrets if it asked.

Absolutely fantastic. Bottom is more of a beanbag substance which perfectly molds to a bed or a table. Only complaint is the beanbag isnt super heavy, so if you use the stand to support a heavier book like a textbook it might tip back. It supports an Ipad no problem. Ill probably replace some of the beads with the heavier beads from a weighted blanket. Its almost impossible to adjust the tension in the stand mechanism though, so I do have concerns with how long the product will stay a 5/5.

Love this for my kindle. Can put it at any angle and it stays in place. Soft on your lap. Good price. Makes reading in bed or on the couch much more comfortable.

I use this everyday with my iPad to read the news, play online games, etc. It’s adjustable so regardless of where you sit, you can have it at eye level or lap level because it adjusts by moving it up or down and it stays in place. It has plastic pieces that adjust to big or small books, cell phone or iPads. Using it avoids having to bend over to read. Saves the back. A friend saw it and bought one for his mom.

With my neck issues it is very difficult and even painful at times to hold and read a book. This is no longer the case! It holds paperbacks, hardbacks and trade books on a moveable arm so I can adjust and read comfortably. It is truly a life saver!

I love this product! It's exactly what I was looking for. My arms are weak from a spine condition so holding up a tablet or book is difficult, painful and tiring. This product allows me to use my table and book without holding them up. I'm currently using this product as a lap desk to write this review. I love the idea that the bottom part zips off so it can be washed. I've had this product for almost 2 months and use it everyday (sometimes all day). It seems very durable the grips on the stand and a part that pops out is really useful. I love the various angles it can hold my book or tablet. When I first ordered it I was worried that my tablet would make it top heavy but it did not.I just wish this came in more colors.

Devolví uno parecido pero que tenía la pinza de sujección de tabletas. No sujetaba libros, y lo necesito porque empiezan los síntomas de artrosis en las manos, gran parte está causado por sostener abiertos los libros con una mano.. El único pero es que podía ser un poco más ancho, que se apoyase en ambas piernas.

One of the best gadgets ever! Sits up high enough to prevent neck ache when using my iPad and holds perfectly in place with side arms. Needs to be balanced to prevent it tipping forward but that’s not a complaint, just a tweet. Very comfy on your lap.Also great for holding some books and mobile phonesI would definitely recommend. My sister also purchased one after trying mine.
