I am a biscuits n gravy SNOB. Good old redneck cattle rancher ex military that's me! And I LOVE Biscuits n gravy! Especially with a little kick from chili powder (Thank you Grandma Arbuckle form the Garfield comics) Before I tried this one Mountain Home sausage biscuits n gravy was top of the list ... but it was in the category Eh... not bad not great just OK. This one Well it passes not bad substitute for fresh and jumps into the tasty and comparable category. Now NOTHING will beat made fresh but if you want a quick and does not Suck version of freeze dried biscuits n Gravy I recommend this with a little salted butter and some pepper it's almost as good.

Great easy breakfast, cold water is even easier. I do appreciate using hot water, and extra, sorta makes it an oatmeal and a good way to get more water in whilst backpacking. Good amount of food too

Honestly this one was not our favorite! It could've been user error but I'm fairly certain we did everything right - still had very dry, crunchy pieces of biscuit and the sausage pieces have a crunch as well we didn't enjoy...of course that's the nature of dehydrated meals, but we wont be buying this one again. Maybe we need to add a little more water or cook it longer? Not sure!Will say, we loved all the other Peak meals we got though!

I’ve been craving it since the pandemic because i’ve not been back home. This freeze-dried version passes the yummy yummy vibe check. Legit gave me a sense home and memories. I was skeptical at first but the first bite was phenomenal; it brought back memories of family brekkie at my grandmas. The taste is near the same; the texture of gravy was a thinner (but i added a splash too much of water). this is the legit best biscuits and gravy this southern boy has had in anywhere in Canada (besides when I make it from scratch).Y’all not only does the meal taste good; it’s high in protein.10/10 recommend for camping/hiking. Also, for a biscuits & sausage gravy fix when you don’t wanna go through the hassle at home.I added dollop of butter, pinch of red pepper flakes and a dash of pepper. (that’s how we did back home.)So, Buy it without hesitation.And thank you again Peak Refeul for good food and taste of nostalgia from home. 🫂🤗Only negative: The instructions are really difficult to read. The font needs to be bigger or a colour that contrasts better with outlining. If I were in my house i would have trouble reading.
