Beforehand because it is slightly thin sheet metal it may appear slightly flimsy, but it isn't. And even better, the lock being operated by screwdriver instead of a key that can get lost makes it easy to work with later on. The dimensions are just right for an average-sized man to squeeze through. Not a large opening that may stand out from the wall, but just enough to make it easier to access items.

Arrived in perfect condition. This door uses a screwdriver slot to open and close, so there is no key by design which is much more convenient, but not secure if you don't want people getting in there. But overall, a very nice door.

Exactly what I needed. The door was packaged well and arrived unscathed as others have reported. It does not require a key, again as others have mentioned. You only need a small screwdriver to open and close the door. I put a piece of insulation on the inside of the door. I ordered a second one to create another access point in another room. Highly recommended

This is a quality access panel! Not a flimsy cheapo! The frame is solid! Nice and thick metal. Machining fab standards are high. You will be pleased. The company that ships this understands how to package an item like this to prevent damage. The whole unit is bubble wrapped. Then there is styrofoam packed inside. The box is extra heavy duty cardboard! A+

The packaging on the product does not provide a lot of protection in the corners. It was damaged in shipping with one of the corners bent. I can’t say this is a fault of the manufacturer other than they could have provided a little more cushion around the edges. I would return for new, but I would expect a replacement to arrive in the same condition so I bent it back with pliers. It’s not perfect but is serviceable. If this wasn’t in a semi-hidden area I would have returned.

Perfect fit for garage ceiling access to upstairs plumbing . easy to install, used two pieces of wood 1x1x12” to attach each end of panel on top of sheet rock & 4- 1” self tapping wood screws. Small thin blade screw driver turns latch.FYI - no directions & no key & no hardware incuded

Le colis est arrivé chez moi intact. La plaque était emballée dans du papier bulle et insérée dans une boîte ajustée. Elle s'est très bien insérée dans le trou d'accès à mes tuyaux d'évacuation au sol sur un plancher à l'epoxy. Elle était moins cher qu'en magasin de bricolage.
Poor Packaging
Product itself would be great, except for the bent corners (from shipping!?) I’ve ordered 3 now, and all have been damaged. Hopefully the 4th comes packaged better…lol no I’m sure it won’t 🤷♂️
