The best part is the sections on active reading and critical thinking; it teaches you how to approach the passages and eliminate bad answers effectively.

I think that there are many excellent review strategies in this collection, but I most see Reading and Vocabulary Skills review as opposed to Grammar. I tutor for the New SAT, and I know for a fact that these items come up over and over on the test: punctuation, verb tense, pronoun agreement, and transitional words and phrases.So its a decent review but I do recommend beefing up the sections I have listed above!

Answer key does NOT match the questions! The explanations and reasoning provided for the answer were not related to the questions asked after each passage. My guess is the answer key is for a different version of this book previously released.

Pretty good for the price. I used to tutor SAT math. Most students have a problem with that section. If you want a book that helps more with specific math problems, look elsewhere. This book is more about understanding the test and strategies to answer the questions.
