In a home with multiple pets, I've gone through more carpet cleaners than I can count in the past 10 years. None of them have been as lightweight as the Kenmore, nor do they remove as much water. In a fraction of the time as my last Hoover, my carpets are dry to the touch and ready to be walked on. My pets also approve of having drier carpets faster.The carpet cleaning solution that comes with it smells alright and seems to work well. I like that I use only capfuls of the solution instead of filling a separate part of the tank. I'd love to be able to use my normal solution with it, but the manual says that any other solution might cause excess foaming and would invalidate the warranty (Page 11 of the manual).Speaking of the tank, it doesn't last as long as I'm used to I'm filling more than I usually would with any other carpet cleaner - but the results are worth the extra trips to the sink. You also are supposed to use only room temperature water with this machine, which I found odd - but it works really well! I'm assuming anything warmer than room temperature might cause an issue with the integrity of the tank(s), so keep that in mind.The machine itself is pretty sleek looking and a breeze to clean. The front plate removes so that you can get any extra pet hair or debris from the rollers. The dirty water tank fully opens with a hinge so that you can dump out the used water and clean that as well.All in all, I'm extremely pleased with my purchase. Glad to see that Kenmore is still a quality brand that can be trusted!

I am really happy with this. I have just used it for the first time yesterday. I had very, very, dirty carpet that was way overdue for a cleaning. I live in a rental and am too embarrased to say how long its been lol. I dont have the space to clear out my things for professionals to come clean and this cleaner is about 60% the cost of a visit from a buissiness. My intention was to remove dirt and contaminates from down deep after the years of living on this carpet. I had no expectaion for how good it would look i just wanted it "cleaned". To my surprise the carpets look SO much better just shy of amazing, it is 19 year old carpet and there is only so much help it can recieve. I ran it three times, washing then almost drying each time. All but the 2 most severe spots were removed and the severe spots were reduced in appeance by about 80%. I dont belive a carpet that is manitained normally would require 3 full passes. This thing removed so much dirt and dander from down deep in the carpet. It is undeniable when you empty the dirty water tank. The suction is very powerful and direcected right where it needs to be to pull up the water quickly after saturation. The tanks are easy to remove and fill. I have rented the grocery store rug doctors many times, this Kenmoore provided much better results to my surprise. the water tank is a bit smaller so you have to stop and refill but that is so easy to do it wasnt much of a problem for me. the brush spins pretty fast and its is it good contact with the carpet so i guess thats why the stains got removed. I should add that they made the brush head cove SO EASY to remove and clean and that may bey one of my favorite features? Dont have any comment on durability beacasue its brand new, but like i said it was just about half the cost of a visit from a professional.

I was skeptical about it because of the small diameter hose and I always liked the big green machine.It works as good as the rental!I used this machine on all different carpet types and it worked perfect.It’s also quieter than the rental.It’s the same as using an upright vacuum.It extracted almost all the water I added.The carpet in the picture is over 50 years old; was a bit dull and had no stains. The shampooer cleaned it beautifully.My fill was between the small and large line.It’s user friendly, lightweight, and easy to store.I have been cleaning for over 50 years; had my own cleaning business and have shampooed a lot of carpets over the years.This unit works perfectly for residential use.It’s not a rugged unit, but it’s well made.If you treat it carefully and clean it after each use, I’m sure it will last.I have no complaints at this time.

This shampooer cleans deeper than the RugDoctor’s I’ve rented previously. Very light weight so I was worried it wouldn’t be heavy enough to clean deeply but thankfully I was wrong. The hose attachment also works incredibly well for stairs, mattresses and couches. The only issue I’ve had is that the clean water tank has cracked at the bottom causing it to not hold water for long and there’s no replacement tank for it yet (2024 model-did not purchase the warranty) without the purchase of a new shampooer entirely. It still holds the water long enough for me to shampoo small areas but whatever water is left over from the shampooing will leak out so I have to dump it when I’m done. It still works great but I recommend getting the warranty with it. I’m not a warranty purchaser but this one I wish I would’ve splurged on!
Lightweight and Effective Carpet Cleaning Machine – Easy to Use!
This carpet-cleaning machine is a fantastic find! It's incredibly easy to use and does an excellent job removing dirt from carpets. The machine is also lightweight, which makes it super convenient to carry from room to room or up and down stairs.Its performance exceeded my expectations, lifting stains and leaving carpets fresh and clean. If you're looking for a machine that's efficient and easy to maneuver, I highly recommend this one!
I’m impressed
So far, so good, just used it once. The water was absolute mud. (don’t judge me) so I have to believe that it was working well. It is lighter in weight than the last one I had. I was disappointed that it did not have the upholstery/stair cleaning tool but that’s on me. I looked at so many of them. I’ve forgotten what I’ve chosen. Just beware.
Electrolux carpet cleaner
Easy to assemble, light and easy to maneuver, tank is large enough to get a good amount of work done before refilling. Prefer this Electrolux unit to the Bissel it replaced.
Best budget vacuum!
I am very pleased with this small yet mighty machine’s design and performance. Since both the tanks are located at the same level, the weight of the machine didn’t strain my arms. It cleaned better than my previous hoover brand machine. It is also super easy to put together and pull apart for cleaning afterwards. I only wish that the dirty water tank had more capacity, it has to be emptied once the level reaches about 1/4th of the tank’s level.

Fully recommended, I have pet and dirty carpet but this machine work perfect. Carpet look like a professional cleaner.
