Just used this on a shoot to hold my phone. We used the phones as a tether for SpotMyPhotos and it was great for quickly removing and putting the phone back on the rig. Very strong magnet and a super tiny form factor!

The holder itself is super lightweight and sturdy—easy to carry around and store (fits right into your pocket). But the magnet? Eh, it’s not as strong as I expected. 😕 If you’ve got a MagSafe-compatible phone case, it works way better. 👌 Without a case, though, it’s easy to get off. 😬

Works great. Is super lightweight and easy to fold up for storage. Fits easily into my Nikon 7xii hot shoe. Holds my Iphone 15 pro max easily. Is easy to turn phone from portrait mode to landscape for easy behind the scenes videos of photoshoots, or for keeping posing prompts easy and accessible. Make sure you have a good case on your phone with a magsafe circle.

Magnet is very strong for a iPhone 15 pro, I don’t see any action of mine would cause the phone to fall off unless I send my camera flying. Also very thin when folded, less bulky compared to a traditional phone clipper.
