The pistachios were delicious and had a great roasted taste. The shapes and textures are different, but basically all were around the same taste which in this case was ok because it tasted really good. The only note to make is that this is a style of baklava with syrup only and no honey. That seems to be the way Turkish Baklava is made. Although I'm used to the type dripping in honey I enjoyed these very much. I poured a little honey on some of them and enjoyed them a lot. Truthfully without all the honey the pastries stayed crispier and was outstanding. Adding the honey after was actually perfect. The ones without the honey, but just syrup tasted different, but were enjoyable. I reccomend this companies Baklava...so good.

I'm new to these kinds of deserts. I had some kataifi and baklava from a Greek restaurant and fell in love. I even looked up the history and the original way it was made. Wow so special. We'll they don't sell the kataifi anymore so, I've been looking for a delicious substitute. This is it! So delicious! Each dessert tastes different and all are delicious. I bought my sister a box too. This is such a beautiful and traditional dessert and I feel more people should experience these tasty treats!

This was my fourth order of the Damaskino Premium Pistachio Baklava -always perfect! But for the first time, this batch wasn’t fresh. Pistachios and ghee tasted moderately stale. I believe it’s a storing problem. Now this Baklava is sold out. I placed a reminder request with Bolo for the time it’s back in stock.

Wow, this is such amazing Baklava! I was expecting it to taste yummy, but it's even better than that because it's actually CRISP!! I absolutely love this box and it would make a great gift! Every single bite is so decadent and not too sweet, so it's hard not to eat too many at once! Haha! It's also really nice how at least two rows are double layered, though I wish the one with the bronze paper under it (the one with pistachio) was also double layered as it's not. Either way, you get plenty of delicious pastry in this box. I hope to eat it quick enough that it won't get stale, because it is surprisingly fresh and I would hate for it to spoil!

I was looking forward this because I’m a huge fan of Baklava and order it often from the different sellers on Bolo sadly though, my experience has been bad except for one brand. I left a review for that band if you’re curious.The product was extremely dry like it’s been sitting somewhere, I initially thought maybe it felt dry because the package was left on my front porch during delivery and it was just cold so I let it sit for a couple of days before eating it and the result was still the same, it was dry even after sitting at room temperature for a few days. I wouldn’t recommend this brand if you’re looking for Baklava but, it could’ve been a bad box that I received and their products may not all be like this however, I would advise ordering at your own risk. The taste was decent though it just ruined the quality by the dryness.

I wish I could remember the brand I got before. 🤨 These were the best price. The packaging is attractive and the items look good. Very pretty for a gift. The taste was not what I was looking for. I wanted that rich taste of honey, butter, pistachios, and crunchy pastry. These taste like pastry drenched in sugar syrup. I ate one of each, then waited several days and tried them again. I gave the rest away.
