Why did you pick this product vs others?:Its really cute, but as usual the stock photos show that it looks way bigger than what it is. I would need two of these OR only use it for half of my hair. It works pretty well and seems to be durable.

I am giving this hairline 2 stars rather than 1 because it is SO cute! But for the price not very strong. The first time I wore it and tried removing it from my hair it broke. I might buy another one now that I know it's super fragile and treat it as such because it really is a cute hairclip.

My youngest daughter loves Batgirl, and has a ton of hair, so I thought this would be a fun gift for her around Spooky season and beyond.The metallic claw is the perfect size (about 1.5") for pulling hair back into a half-up, half-down style. It is pretty heavy metal and the design spreads out to almost 4" wide and 3" tall! The teeth are spaced a bit wide, so they don't really keep their grip on hair that well on their own, but work well with a hair-band for grip.The price is awesome for a cool hair piece! It is really unique and eye-catching, and an awesome accessory for a Batman or Halloween outfit!

It's a beautiful clip, however, it's rather heavy. If you have thin hair (like myself) you might want to try something more lightweight. The actually clip part that goes into your hair is rather small as well, so that doesn't help with the weight issue and keeping it up.
