These half inch sheet metal screws are perfect for securing my Velcro that is supposed to be double-sided sticky to my aluminum garage door frame, so that I can use my garage door screen kit....😂 The double sided sticky velcro tape doesn't stick to my aluminum...However spacing the screws apart approximately 5 inches holds the velcro to the aluminum frame perfectly and securely.This was a really great deal for as many as I got.. I obviously have a ton left over..They are the perfect size for attaching velcro to aluminum when you need something that is be able to be put up and taken down repetitively...They're short enough and have very unique tips that they actually drill themselves without having to pre-drill a hole.I found them to be easy to work with and as smooth as butter to put in.

A sharpe self tap tip & the screw strength is good. One of the better self tappers out there right now. This can even tap direct into standard 16 gauge sheet metal without drilling a pilot hole.
