The mounting flanges on the fan matched my existing mounting points so installation was a piece of cake and took less than fifteen minutes to install including landing wiring. It interfaced well with my existing thermostat. It has been operating satisfactorily for almost a week now.

I use this fan to evacuate noxious fumes from a small paint room I made in the basement using drop cloths as walls and placing the fan in the window. It has two sliding panes which pull out very easily. The way a slot between two sections of wood at the sill plate allows me to push it up, then forward, as the bottom rests on the lower window frame. Right now I'm using a single fan, removing a single pane. I am upgrading to two fans, necessitating pulling the other pane out. I made a metal mesh screen that attaches on the outside and keeps any critters from entering.Bottom line, there are zero fumes escaping and just a single fan sucks the majority of fumes out quickly. Resididual smell lingers after 30 minutes...give it an hour and it's completely clear. Two fans should do wonders. I love the speed control, which I mounted to the rear of the fan and can turn on/adjust once it's in place. I can barely hear it operating. This was LONG in coming. Been using it a year now and it's superb.

Works well, however it did not come with a cord to plug it in, so if you need that, plan ahead, works great moves a ton of air and looks good,

I needed an exhaust fan for the garage after acquiring a 1976 Datsun 280Z, the exhaust of which smells just like the 70’s-era gas-powered sports car that it is. This thing moves a LOT of air!In my installation, a Wemo switch controls all power to the fan by wiring the hot wire through the speed-control switch that came with the fan and then on to the fan itself.I keep the speed-adjustment dial that came with the fan on high and use the Wemo Alexa-controlled switch (bottom in the photo taken inside the garage) to run routines that allow me start the fan for a set period of time.Before the rare instances of taking the car out, I run the fan for 30 minutes and again for 30 after returning. The old-school rich-exhaust aroma is now all but non-existent. Thanks, VENTISOL!Note: you may need an electrician to safely install the fan and switch because it does NOT come with a cord set for outlet plugging, but some logistical genius might be able to figure out how to use one while still being able to use the speed-control dial.

We have 2 of these now. The First one worked great but we have a large shop and need 2. Easy to install! A+ on product and install.Low noise really for a 24in fan.

Was looking around for a fan to put in the build I was completing for a customer. This is in the back of a box truck that needed extra ventilation. The fan runs on 120vdc and came with a variable speed fan switch. It came exactly as described and work flawlessly!!!
