Hand wash this item as extreme hot water from a dishwasher will leach out the oils in the rubber making it very sticky and gross.

This is my second one. I was so impressed with how well it scraped the sides of the bowl to allow for easier mixing that I got another one. That way I can make multiple batches of frosting or cookies one right after the other and it have to stop and wash it.

Excellent! I bake a lot and this is the perfect addition for my KitchenAid mixer. Less scrapping down the sides.

Beater does a great job scraping the bowl. As someone else mentioned, it does kick up dry ingredients, such as flour or powdered sugar.
