From the moment he opened the box, he was beyond excited. He immediately started pulling out all the tools, especially the electronic toy drill—it’s definitely his favorite! It makes real drill sounds and adds such a fun, realistic touch to his playtime.The set comes with 41 pieces, and every single one is designed perfectly for small hands. The tools look just like the real thing, but they’re safe, lightweight, and durable. He’s been walking around the house with his tool box “fixing” furniture, walls, toys—you name it. It’s been so fun watching him use his imagination and pretend to be just like the grown-ups.The portable tool box is another awesome feature. It helps keep all the pieces organized and makes it easy for him to carry everything from room to room. I was also impressed with the quality—nothing feels flimsy or cheap, and everything has held up great even with daily play.He’s 5 years old, and this set is absolutely perfect for his age. I think it would work great for any kid from around 3 to 8, as it encourages creativity, motor skills, and hands-on learning. This is a gift for a 4-year-old boy with a certain kind of personality: organizational, eager to make things and then take them apart. So this is perfect for creative, pretend play.The set has a drill that "works" (you need a couple of AA batteries, so don't wait to get these before kiddo unwraps the present). Using the drill with the screws and also using the measuring tape were a big hit. The size of the tools is easy for little fingers. Let's not forget the hammer. Thank god it's only plastic.The case is fairly durable but the inserts that keep all the tools organized are definitely not. Even if you taped or glued the inserts in place, it wouldn't work. So that was frustrating, and for this kind of kid - remember, organizational - it is a problem. It might be better to just dispose of that part, rather than create an issue. I knocked off a star for that.Otherwise, it's decent value for the money and a solid set that'll provide hours of creative play.

This little toddler toolbox is awesome and has made my son very happy and entertained. He has been trying to mimic his Daddy and Uncles! It's the cutest thing to see! Shows how much our kiddos watch what we are doing. He told me this AM that he was "Being safe with his goggles like his Funkie Unkie" (My baby brother). It melted my heart as I know his dad and all his uncles are the definition of a man. He has great role models. I don't use tools that much, but My boy knew exactly what everything was and how or why to use it. Anyways, this little set does come with some smaller pieces. Small enough to choke on. So, I went ahead and removed all those smaller pieces (a few nuts) That is something to be mindful of, my son knows not to put things in his mouth, but I can't trust that he won't as he is a toddler. This set is made of a good thick plastic and isn't going to break right away. I love the case it all comes in and has its own place in it! I love toys that are actually teaching life skills while playing. This is one of those. It also helps my baby boy to feel like he's being helpful and putting in his share lol. The toys all function as it they were real but not and is a great price for all you get.

My 7 year old daughter loves this tool set. It's really easy to use and functions perfectly for the toy that it is. The drill is so much fun to use. You get a lot with this set making it a really great value for the price. The size of the tools are perfect for my 7 year old child's hands. I believe this would work well for kids anywhere from 3 to 9 years. it's all pretty decent quality for a toy. She has been playing with it non-stop and we have not had any issues with anything breaking yet.

The tools are all fine, and in particular the fact that it has a working impact drill with a movable handle is fun. I would say they are of average quality for the price, and shopping around I can see many of the exact same tools in similar sets for similar or slightly lower prices.The main complaint is that the storage case is really bad. The inserts are made of plastic much flimsier than even a cheap fast food soda cup. They pop out of the case when you try to take the tools out...even adults will be annoyed using them, and they won't stand up to even a day of toddler play. This means you're going to have to leave everything loose in the case which defeats the purpose of it and also means the kid can't learn to organize them. With a better case I would have rated higher.
