I think it took them nearly 2 years just to go from X3 to X4?? The upgrades they did include that seemed kinda minor actually make a huge difference when I'm shootingDaylight shooting looks largely the same on X5 as it did on X4—sharp, crisp, vibrant, and really smooth. But once the sunlight disappears, you immediately notice how much the bigger sensor improved its low light performance. I think the low light quality is on par with typical point-and-shoot cams, which is wild since 360 action cams notoriously perform poorly in low light situations!And then there's the sound quality, which I think has always been one of my pain points with Insta360s. But I think X5 fixed this and has some of the best quality on any action cam I've ever tried. The built-in windguard finally makes audio usable even when it's windy or the camera is moving fast with my bikeI also really like the removable lenses, extended battery life, and improved water proofing. The list goes on, but everything together makes for an incredible 360 camera for just about any situation. You don't need to be a professional content creator to use X5. It shoots flat video just as well as it shoots 360°. The only difference is that X5 gives you the option (and freedom) to choose which format you want to use.I think this is likely going to be my most used camera of 2025!

When I review a product, it is because I bought it myself with my own money. I don't generate reviews with Al or accept freebies from companies just to write fluff pieces. With that out of the way...As someone who produces video content for both personaand commercial use, I've worked with nearly every major action and 360° camera system on the market. The Insta360 X5 is the first one that truly bridges the gap between convenience and professional-grade results.Let's start with image quality. The 8K resolution paired with the bigger sensors delivers exceptionally clean footage, even in mixed lighting. I've used it for outdoor shoots, indoor interviews, and low-light environments, and the footage consistently holds up. Colors are accurate, dynamic range is surprisingly strong for a camera this size, and the PureVideo mode is a genuine leap forward in nighttime performance.What really makes the X5 stand out, though, is the post-production flexibility. With 360 capture, I can shoot first and choose my framing later. Yes, it's basicly Insta360's slogan,but it's a slogan that's actually true. This functionality (which is inherent in 360° cameras) is invaluable during run-and-gun shoots where reshoots aren't .an option. Insta360 Studio has matured into a powerful, reliable editing tool, and the mobile app is fast becoming a go-to when I need to deliver social-ready content quickly.Audio has also seen a big step up. The built-in micsare far more usable now, with betterclarity and less wind distortion-a major win for those of us tryiing to minimize gear on thego.

I joke with friends that I'm using the X5 to record video of death-defying, bone-breaking keyboard, flute, and cello performances. Seriously, though, the X5 is nothing less than AMAZING for my calm recordings of beautiful music. Even the built-in audio mics are up to the task, with a bit of help from the Izotope Ozone Elements audio mixing plugin for DaVinci Resolve Fairlight (I use the Warm Synth preset). It's absolutely wonderful to be able to place the tiny camera 1-2 inches from the keyboard, and it will capture the pianist as the main eye-strong subject with the flute and cello nicely framed as secondary subjects. The recordings are simply stunning - I film in ProRes 4K/30 at High bitrate, then edit in Resolve (not much editing needed). Even though the file size is huge (25GB for 5 min of music), the workflow is VERY smooth with my i5 PC and RTX 3080 graphics card. I look forward eagerly to doing more music recordings, as they yield beautiful video and audio. (The ProRes 422 footage is amazing before export - every little bit of quality helps.) I export in H.264, as there is a bit of quality loss with H.265. The resulting file for YouTube is around 2 GB, which is very reasonable. An added wonderful benefit is that I can place the X5 and then go and site 50 feet away across the room and start/stop/monitor the recording on my iPhone via the very reliable wifi connection.

Pero después de actualizar el firmware, ha funcionado perfectamente. Graba con calidad, se edita fácil y las funciones de reencuadre son súper útiles. La uso para todo, desde clips en el gimnasio hasta paseos por la naturaleza. Definitivamente vale la pena si te gusta hacer videos geniales sin mucho esfuerzo.

Ürün hızlıca elime ulaştı. İçerisinden kamera ile bir şarj kablosu çıktı. 2 ucu da Type-C. Bunun dışında adaptörü ayrıca almanız gerekiyor. Yada çoklu batarya şarj ederim diyorsanız harici şarj adaptörleri mevcut. Aynı anda birden fazla bataryayı hızlı şarj edebiliyorlar. Ufak bir taşıma kılıfı çıktı. Sadece kamera sığar içerisine. Lens koruma kapağı yok kutuda. Bunları ayrıca almanız gerekiyor. Ayrıca Micro SD kart almanız gerekiyor. Burada dikkat edilecek konu max 1TB büyüklüğünde ve UHS-I arayüzüne sahip ve V30 veya daha yüksek hız sınıfında olan kartlardan olması gerekmektedir.İlk incelememe göre görüntüsü gayet güzel. Ben daha çok scuba dalışlarda kullanıyorum. Cihazın otomatik renk düzeltme özelliğinin ne kadar efektif olacağınız zamanla göreceğim. Su altında derinlik ve yansımalar ciddi oranda video renk düzenini değiştiriyor. Normalde bunları editlemek için baya zaman harcamak gerekiyor.Ürün genel olarak güzel ancak yan aksesuarları baya pahalı maalesef.

"Insta360 X5 - Action Cam Impermeabile 360° in 8K, Superba in Bassa Luce, Selfie Stick Invisibile, Obiettivi Sostituibili, Autonomia 3 ore, Cover Antivento, Stabilizzazione, Design con triplo Chip IA"Che dire... Non sono esperta di action cam, il massimo della tecnologia video che abbiamo in casa risale ad una ormai vecchia Hero7.Qualsiasi raffronto è letteralmente impietoso.Certo, per chi segue queste tecnologie in modo costante non sarà stato un grande shock, per noi invece è stato come ritrovarsi tra le mani un qualcosa di proveniente da un futuro prossimo.Per entrare nella logica di questo sistema posso dire, anche con un po di vergogna, c'è voluto un po di tempo, molte cose, troppe cose, tutte insieme, mi hanno inondata di informazioni e logiche a me nuove, per questo ci ho messo un po a generare questa recensione..Non farò una relazione tecnica con inutili ripetizioni dei dati che potete trovare tranquillamente sia nell'inserzione che in rete, mi concentrerò sull'esperienza d'uso di questo prodotto così particolare.Già dal nome di può intuire che questa acrion cam ha la capacità di girare video a 360gradi con una risoluzione di 8k che poi non sono altro che due sensori da 1/1.28" da 4k cadauno. I frames per secondo, a 8k, sono 30, scendendo di risoluzione, quindi a 5,7K si riescono ad avere 60fps e 4K a 120fps.Si può usare anche in modalità single lens proprio come una action cam convenzionale con ovviamente una risoluzione massima di 4K.Gli obbiettivi sono da 6mm di focale con un'apertura di f:2 quindi in grado di raccogliere un bel po di luce il che unito al sensore maggiorato rispetto alle versioni precedenti e ai sistemi di elaborazione artificiale dovrebbero restituire video ottimi anche con poca luce.Ed in effetti è proprio così!Già dalle prime prove, che per forza di cose sono state fatte di tardo pomeriggio-sera siamo rimasti colpiti dalla qualità ottima dei filmati, rispetto a ciò che abbiamo usato fino a poche settimane prima un salto di qualità pazzesco.Anche le foto "semplici" a 360 gradi hanno una buona qualità anche nelle zone d'ombra ci sono delle criticità (grana) piuttosto evidenti.La costruzione è eccellente, solida, con materiali di alta qualità, nulla è lasciato al caso. A differenza dai modelli antecedenti la X5 ha gli obbiettivi sostituibili direttamente dal cliente finale e cosa non da poco, hanno anche un costo piuttosto abbordabile, una cosa magnifica per una action cam che si sa, può cadere o essere sottoposta a urti e non solo... Si possono anche proteggere con delle coperture in vetro ottico che si possono acquistare sullo store.Ma non finisce qui, lo so che qualcuno mi darà della boomer, ma sono rimasta impressionata dalle varie funzioni disponibili; Timelapse, Hyper lapse, Star lapse, Fly lapse, Bullet time, Loop, eliminazione automatica del selfie stick, stabilizzazione, blocco dell'orizzonte, accensione posticipata per non parlare poi degli effetti applicabili sui video...Un tripudio di funzioni e relative impostazioni da far girare la testa, sopra tutto ad una nubbia come me. Il display è molto nitido, anche alla luce del sole. Il touche screen è veloce, senza lag, restituisce una vera e propria esperienza d'uso. Il menù, al di la di uno scontro piuttosto duro nei primi giorni, alla fine si è rivelato facile e comodo, certo, tante opzioni, tanto impegno per cercare di capire la logica, ma una volta abituati tutto è magicamente a portata di mano.Tra le cose che mi hanno più sconvolto è l'editing tramite smartphone, una cosa incredibile, sicuro non lo sarà per chi usa questi apparecchi, ma incredibili per chi si trova al "primo contatto" con questa tecnologia.La app di scarica tramite il QR code fornito, l'installazione è molto semplice, basta seguire le indicazioni...Una volta aperta ci si trova davanti ad un vero e proprio sistema di editing video, semplificato ma veloce ed efficiente.Mi è parso di capire che il lavoro vero e proprio viene eseguito dai processori della insta, la app dello smartphone è solo una sorta di "telecomando" e quindi non ha problemi di rallentamenti o blocchi di memoria.E' incredibile, si avrà un video a 360 gradi che sarà possibile editare inquadrando quello su cui si vuol dare attenzione esattamente come può fare un regista, semplicemente inserendo dei keyframe ad ogni cambiamento di inquadratura.Cè anche una funzione di tracking automatico, l'ho provata con mia figlia e che dire, non sbaglia mai, pazzesco!Volendo si può scaricare dal sito ufficiale anche il software Insta 360 studio che ci fa lavorare un po più comodamente.Sono disponibili add on, lut e persino un plugin per Adobe premiere ed è probabile che si aggiungeranno funzioni e servizi in futuro (oltre agli aggiornamenti firmware che a quanto pare la insta non fa mancare ai suoi clienti),Si ricarica tramite la presa usb-c 3.0 che si trova ben protetta da un sportellino con guarnizione. La batteria da 2400 mAh ha una durata variabile a seconda della risoluzione scelta e dalla tipologia si lavoro scelto, comunque diciamo che può arrivare fino a 180 minuti di utilizzo ininterrotto. (vedi specifiche). La ricarica richiede poco più di un paio di ore utilizzando un normale caricatore a muro da 5V 2A (non fornito)Anche l'audio è piuttosto buono, quando abbiamo girato i primi video c'era vento e un po di rumore ambientale dato da un generatore che si trovava ad un paio di centinai di metri da noi, il sistema ha eliminato efficacemente tutto il rumore ambientale. Per ciò che riguarda la memoria ovviamente la X5 richiede micro SD di alta qualità di classe 10, ovvio, con quella mole di dati non poteva essere altrimenti.Questa X5 è impermeabile di suo fino a 15 metri, con il case opzionale arriva anche a 60 metri.Conclusioni:Costa tanto ma quello che si riesce a realizzare con questa X5 si ripaga fino all'ultimo centesimo. E' costruita bene e pensata ancor meglio, come non rimanere entusiasti dal poter cambiare da soli gli obbiettivi?Certo, richiede un po di studio, bisogna entrare nella sua ottica ma una volta superato questo piccolo ostacolo iniziale ti si apre un mondo di possibilità creative.5 stelle, sono anche poco.

The delivery was super fast, I got the new camera the very next day. Since I love snowboarding and cycling, I’ve been using Insta360 for a while, like X3 and X4, so I was really excited to try this new model. It works great, and some scene modes have clearly improved, night shots look sharper now. The app has also been updated and feels much easier to use. Overall I’m really happy with it!
