It comes with 3 different size applicators and attaches to my lube can.The end of the guide has an O ring to provide a tight seal against the one of 3 guides that are included in the kit. I was using WD-40 to try it out, but I recommend motorcycle chain lube so as to not attract dust and dirt.Includes a handy can clamp and a spray head with a red nozzle as seen in the pictures.

I found this tool did a great job of keeping the lubricant on my chain but required diligence to keep it from coming apart. The chain head would come off from a light bump before even touching the chain but would work well when pushed against the chain. I used a small pick to clean the groove where it attached to the arm and didn’t have it come off again. The main arm fit a can of Belray chain lube but the tab would not stay locked to secure it to the can. It fits a small can of Silkolene chain lubricant and latches as it should.

Not sure if it's an essential tool to have but it does help keep the mess less at least. Good idea and all, just not sure if it's really all that necessary.

The media could not be loaded. The applicator was fairly easy to install and fit right onto the can of lubricant I was going to use on my bike chain. While the three spray adapters are meant for motorcycle chains, the smallest one was a bit wide for use with a bicycle chain but still did a decent job of containing the spray onto the chain.Does this tool make it easier and quicker to apply spray lube onto a chain? I would say yes, however, it is just as easy to just spray the lubricant directly onto the chain with a rag below to catch the excess lube.

This chain oiler is a must have for any bike rider, bicycle or motor bike rider.
