I'm using as a foundation/sunscreen applicator. There are a zillion individual "hairs" in the brush but it did not soak up the foundation as I thought it would. The application when on very smoothly without any streaks or lines. Its hard to explain that the brush is both soft but has a slight rigidity or density that allows for a buffing motion if that is your desire. I think this could be ones only brush for foundation, blush, etc. Soft enough to use in the eye orbit area. This company is new to me but based on the quality of this brush I would explore other options. It was half the price of the IT brush I was planning to buy but some said the brush fell apart. So I'm glad I found this great brush instead.
