Its a 4 disk set disk 1 is episodes 1-6, disk 2 is episodes 7-12, disk 3 is episodes 1-6 plus bonus features, disk 4 is episodes 7-12 plus bonus features. That took me a bit to figure out why there were 2 disks of each. the disks without bonus features are dvd, the disks with bonus features are blu ray. the are book is a bit small, its the size of the dvd case and almost half as thick as the case. it is 68 pages but they count the filler pages that tell you its a new chapter as part of that 68, so its like 2 pages to tell you the name of the chapter and there are 6 chapters in the book. it is a nice little book it has interviews with the cast and crew some stills and art work and very short bio on the characters. It also comes with 4 little cardboard pictures that are very shinny and 6 small stickers. IMO i don't think all the extras in this set are worth the price jump you pay for it. Unless your a collector of things like this i would just recommend the blu ray without all the extras.

This show is phenomenal, I can't recommend this enough to anyone. Its now my favorite show period, not just anime. My only issue is the Japanese audio is only in 2.0 instead of 5.1.3 and I just can't listen to English voice actors when it comes to anime. To me it sounds like they are giving 10% effort when delivering their lines so I only watch in the original language. If a version is released with the Japanese audio in 5 1.3 I'll purchess the product the second its for sale. The item came exactly as advertised and in perfect condition. I seriously look forward to purchessing season 2 and seriously hope a version with the Japanese audio in 5.1.3 becomes available for purchess.

5.0 out of 5 stars Blu-Ray Episode #6 freezes - Limited Edition
Story, awesome.....but see if you can play episode #6, I can not. I get about 10 seconds into it and it begins to freeze then plays a couple more seconds then stops and boots me to the main menu. I have tried two different blu-ray players and the same thing happens.Obviously it is going back....update.I got my replacement and Episode #6 played fine. However this does make me wonder about Crunchyroll's discs in general. Funimation and Sentai discs I have never had problems with and as someone who has over 100 different series, easily, I would say that is impressive quality control. Bandai was another company I had to watch out for. I am a collector and have several series that I have never opened, most of those are the steel book issues. I don't open them because I have seen them a few times. When Funimation was consumed by Crunchyroll some of their titles I have not been able to stream...Shiki-Sekirei and lately I could not find Seraph of the End. Seraph of the End was on Hulu for awhile but is not there now. So sometimes buying something is the only way I guarantee I can watch it again when I want.Solo Leveling is an incredible show and is definitely worth watching. Two other great shows that have come out in the last year are Kaiju #8 and Hell's Paradise, both are well worth your time. One thing I do not like about Crunchyroll is, I do not know if it is a licensing thing, they sit on shows and I can not buy them here in the States. Misfit at Demon King Academy and Moonlit Fantasy, Noblesse are a few that come to mind off hand. Rarely did that happen with a Funimation show.Anyway ...got off topic there. For anime fans Solo Leveling is required viewing, in my opinion.

Pretty much what u‘d expect, the docu was unexpectedly short and the quality of the blueray holders seems below average, the other goodies are nice, it’s kinda weird that u can’t watch Japanese without subtitles though.

It came nicely packaged. I watched the entire thing on my panasonic bluray player, there were zero stutters or other issues. My favorite Anime at this point, just release us season 2 already! Btw, to everyone that doesn't know, tactile transducers, to shake your couch to the action, are where it's at. This anime has the best audio for it. Unfortunately you can't sense the shocking quality if you're only listening with TV speakers.
