Actually my expectations were a bit low. However, this machine delivers. Just fill it up, insert 5 or 6 smaller garments like underwear, t-shirts, rags or whatever in this machine, put in a tablespoon of detergent and turn it on. The back-and-forth agitation motion is strong. Dirt comes out nicely and the unit is easy to drain. You can wash, dump the water, fill it up again and do a rinse cycle if you want. The machine comes with a basked that's used for spin dry, but it's not that effective (hence 4 stars). But no big deal. I just wring out by hand and you're good to go. Perfect for my RV. Great machine.

We weren’t sure what to expect as the listing doesn’t give a whole lot of details, but I am super happy with what we got.So, the first thing to know is that the User’s Manual is exactly what is shown in my photo. It does indeed show you, “How to clean the little things,” but sometimes the instructions are a bit confusing. The most confusing part is that it says to put clothes and water in the machine (but not how much of either) but does not mention soap or detergent. There are some bluish lights inside, so maybe it is some kind of ultraviolet light magic that cleans the clothes? In any case, I decided to try it sans detergent and it worked great! Clothes came out clean with no body odors.Once you pop it up to full size and plug the drain hole, you are set to go. Add clothes and water (I filled it from the tub, but you could use a container). Then plug it in and select a time. I choose 10 minutes, the longest. The agitator spins one way, stops, and then spins the other. When it stops, drain the water. It also has a kind of spin cycle. You take the clothes out, add the basket, put the clothes in the basket and then run it for another 5 minutes. This part caused the whole machine to move around despite the suction on cup on the bottom. I had to make sure it didn’t fall off the counter. It gets some of the water out, but not like a full-sized washer. You’re almost better off just wringing out your clothes.Then, of course, you still need to hang your clothes out to dry. Mine dried a bit stiff, but still clean. I imagine that you could add detergent, you would just have to do a second rinse cycle, which is totally doable.It folds down for storage. I included a gallon jug with my pictures so you can see the relative size. We are planning to use in our travel trailer for longer trips. It would be great for anyone who does not have their own machines to save trips to the laundry mat. But it does have limitations…small loads of light laundry - no jeans or similarly heavy clothing, and of course you need to line dry (or use a hairdryer in a pinch). Also, it is really too big and heavy for airplane travel IMO.
