Plenty of ports to plug things in including my PS5. There are some nice features with a PS5 but none of which I feel over the moon about. It is nice to have the 'arch' system in the HDMI built in so turning on the PS5 turns off the TV but for me, turning off the PS5 left the TV on. Maybe it's a setting that I just haven't found yet. Like all newer TV's I refuse to connect it to the internet. I instead will use a fire stick (which can be powered by the USB's on the TV) for any streaming I want to do. While this makes the TV dumb, I am more than OK with it. For good measure, I did block it's MAC address just in case one day I forget and hook it up. Sound is decent and bluetooth has connects well. Small antenna picks up the OTA channels really well too. Great looking TV, just keep it from connecting to the internet if you can.
4.0 out of 5 stars A Stunning 4K TV That Delivers on All Fronts
After spending several weeks with the Sony BRAVIA 2 K-65S20M2, I can confidently say this is one of the best TVs in its class. Sony has combined sleek aesthetics, impressive picture technology, and user-friendly smart features into one truly compelling package.Picture Quality: 10/10The 4K Ultra HD resolution delivers razor-sharp clarity that’s immediately noticeable, even when viewing standard HD content that's been upscaled. The HDR performance is fantastic—colors are vivid and lifelike, with deep blacks and impressive contrast levels thanks to Sony’s advanced image processing. What really stands out is the smooth motion handling. Whether watching live sports or fast-paced action films, there's no noticeable blur or lag. The visual detail in darker scenes is also exceptional, showcasing Sony’s ability to handle shadow and depth beautifully.Gaming Experience: ExcellentAs a gamer, I was thrilled with the low input lag and smooth 60Hz refresh rate. When connected to a PS5 or Xbox Series X, gameplay feels responsive, immersive, and incredibly fluid. The 4K visuals truly enhance open-world games and cinematic adventures.Sound Quality: Surprisingly GoodFor a slim LED TV, the sound output exceeded my expectations. The built-in speakers are clear and balanced, with decent bass and clarity for dialogue. While an external soundbar would boost the cinematic experience, this TV holds its own right out of the box for casual viewing.Smart Features & Interface: Smooth and IntuitiveThe Google TV platform is quick, responsive, and loaded with apps. Navigating between Netflix, YouTube, Prime Video, Disney+, and more is seamless. Voice control via Google Assistant is responsive and makes searching for content a breeze. The TV also supports Apple AirPlay, Chromecast, and screen mirroring, which is a huge plus.Design: Sleek and ModernThe K-65S20M2 has a minimalistic, borderless design with thin bezels that maximize screen real estate. It’s visually striking in any room—whether mounted on a wall or placed on a media stand. The build quality feels premium, and the remote is ergonomic and easy to use.Setup & Connectivity: Hassle-FreeSetup was incredibly easy, with step-by-step prompts that had everything connected and running in under 15 minutes. HDMI, USB, optical, and Ethernet ports are all well-placed for accessibility. Wi-Fi connectivity is strong and stable.---Pros:Brilliant 4K HDR picture quality with deep contrastFluid motion handling and vibrant colorsUser-friendly Google TV platformGreat performance for gamingSolid built-in speakersSleek, premium designCons:No native 120Hz refresh rate (but 60Hz performs well)Sound is good, but not room-filling—best paired with a soundbar---Final Verdict:The Sony BRAVIA 2 K-65S20M2 delivers exceptional value for anyone looking to upgrade their home entertainment setup. Whether you're a movie buff, sports enthusiast, or gamer, this TV brings content to life in a way that few others in its price range can match. Sony’s attention to detail in both picture quality and user experience makes this a 5-star product all the way.Highly recommended
5.0 out of 5 stars 65” TV with superb picture quality
Ok this is a pretty awesome 65” Sony SmartTV. It is gigantic and takes up the entirety of my large dresser, as seen in my photos. I’ll probably be hanging it once I get the appropriate wall mount for it. It did come with feet, and 2 AAA batteries for the remote. Like all smart TVs there’s a process when setting it up initially one has to go through, like downloading and signing into any streaming apps that are being used. We only use 2. It also included a QR code for downloading a “remote” app on my phone. I did give it a try but it kept saying it couldn’t connect or would drop the connection. I did check to make sure the TV and my phone were running on the same WiFi (they were) but the remote app for the phone just wasn’t working properly. No biggie as I’d probably forget I had it on my phone, plus I really do not like having to download new apps just to run a new TV. The picture is clear, crisp, and bright! My boyfriend was impressed with it being a Sony. Price seems a bit high in my opinion as I have a 65 in my living room and it was less than $500 (it’s an Insignia). So despite the price seemingly high to me, it’s a very nice TV with a superb picture quality.
2.0 out of 5 stars Don’t buy this TV if you want privacy!
This TV has an excellent picture, is very easy to setup, and quickly detects external peripherals when plugged into an HDMI port. I didn’t use the gaming features so I can’t comment on that. The remote is extremely responsive and intuitive and is a big improvement over my old TV. It also has good, native audio, but of course sounds significantly better with a surround sound receiver or soundbar. Now, the big negative and why I knocked off three stars: if you decide that you don’t want to use the Google TV application, you still have it always looming, creating the Google background with the obnoxious Google political propaganda for whatever extreme cause of the month that they want to force on you. I checked to see if it could be disabled and it can’t. In addition, if you want to use YouTube you must sign into a Google TV account or use a different streaming device like Roku. In addition, Google TV is always listening to you through the TV internal microphone, so you don’t want to have a private conversation in the same room as your TV. I will not keep this TV, I don’t want political propaganda forced on me every time I turn on the TV, and I don’t want Google listening to my conversations. Sony needs to provide a way to get Google off their TV, otherwise I won’t be keeping it.
