This is a super fun little shelf decoration, and my Potter-verse loving pre-teen loved the wizard-themed aspect to it. Can't remember if it officially requires you to have super glue and/or hot glue, but we definitely used it throughout the assembly to help keep things in place. (I recommend the brush-on super glue to help control your application.) Due to the very small pieces and the need for super/hot glue, I don't know that it is something a child could/should do on their own, but it did make for a nice project to work on together. However, we did need to spread the work out over several days just to break it up a bit - so kids who get overwhelmed or have shorter attention spans for projects may find themselves frustrated at the slower pace.One minor critique is that much of the finishing work utilizes stickers - labels on bottles, fliers/flags on the wall, etc. Now that this has been sitting on her shelf for around a year, the labels on the bottles are starting to peel up. They can be pressed back down and/or super glued back in place, but that sticker aspect does affect the longevity a bit.Overall it's a nice shelf decoration and a fun project for people who enjoy miniature objects and the wizarding world.

The media could not be loaded. I've done quite a few of these book nook kits and this was definitely the most satisfying. The detail is amazing, and in some other kits the pieces are just so fragile and snap and don't offer spare parts, but these pieces are thick and fit together in a very gratifying way. Didn't even really need super glue. Also, the instructions are clearer than others I've had, with colored insets that are really helpful. My only complaint is the doors being a bit wobbly since there's not much to keep them on the track. Other than that I loved it and finished it in a day@

The media could not be loaded. This is one of the better book nook models available. The entire structure is made from composite wood, making the pieces quite delicate and susceptible to breaking or scratching if not handled properly. It indicates that it is appropriate for individuals aged 14 and up, yet I believe it is more fitting for adults.The fit and finish are not ideal; many pieces require filing with the provided file board to achieve a proper fit.The instructions are exceptionally clear, facilitating a straightforward assembly process.Additionally, extra parts are included for most items in case you lose or damage one. Regrettably, the item I damaged did not have a spare available.I believed the light and the assembly it fits into could have been built in a more robust way. The light and battery source are excessively heavy for the assembly that is designed to fit inside the shop behind the storefront signage. I found the touchpad for turning the light on and off to be unsatisfactory. If you plan to use a heavy battery compartment, it would be beneficial to include an on/off switch on the battery compartment.Some pieces require glue, but glue is not included. A small bottle of wood glue would have been quite helpful.Overall, the finished model was satisfactory.

I've made a lot of these types of models and this is one of the sturdiest when finished. You can take it down from a shelf and handle it without it feeling like it's going to collapse. Not difficult to put together if you pay attention to the directions. Lots of fun little details, many of them visible only from a certain angle, which makes it feel like a real space.

Absolute love this set. Super fun and relaxing build. It's full of cute details, the piece quality is great, it's almost all press fit so only a little glue needed. Only problem was the little Ramen bowl doesnt really fit the design and was a bit wobbly until I sanded the bottom flat. Wonder and beautiful.

WARNING: If you are "new" to this hobby or intend to give it as a gift to someone that is "new" to this hobby, you might not want to start with Corner Coffee Shop. I'm new. This was the first one that I constructed. Took me OVER a week because so many parts and instructions. CUTEBEE is an awesome company because the instructions are clear and concise. I found two minor instances where instructions were necessary on a particular step and not listed BUT.......YouTube rescuded me. Yes, YouTube shows how to construct.

This is really a challenge but so much fun that I bought two other kits. They are adorable. I ordered a pair of magnifying glasses that work perfectly for this type of work. I'll write a review for those two. Well made. Only need wood glue and batteries. They only bad thing is i have no idea how you could change the batteries if you needed to with out dismantling it.

This company is my go to for booknooks….great instructions….and while I’ve tried other brands, but I won’t anymore, as this is the best in my opinion .

Fun weekend activity
I love these kits because they are doable within a couple of days and look so effective on display. My 11 year old completed this one with minimal assistance in 2 days. The quality of the printed pieces is excellent. My only criticism would be that they are a quick build for the cost.

This company is my go to for booknooks….great instructions….and while I’ve tried other brands, but I won’t anymore, as this is the best in my opinion .
