You can't open it and just drain everything out of it. But it's not that bad. I really like the vacuum, like the suction power, it has. And I love the options of having it run for 3 or even 4 hours if needed.

The robot itself does a decent job, it does capture a good bit of sand and other junk, just have to run it three times to get all the same deposits gone. Anyways, it's a powerful little bot for the most part and can handle our entire 15 x 40' x 4-6 pool on a single run.
